Solid Support and Stability
The Husky 6 Ton Jack Stand Set is made for Heavy Duty Vehicles. This jack stand set has a ratcheting support height adjustment from 15 3/4 inches to 24 inches high. The set comes with a base that is weld reinforced and has flat base pads at each corner, to give you that extra degree of stability, when supporting heavier and/or extended length loads. To use these stands you merely need to locate them at the appropriate support points for the vehicle, and then raise the self locking posts, being sure to keep the saddle of the post even from side to side. The ratcheting post locks should be kept even to support the vehicle level, for maximum stability. If you are attempting to get all four corners of the vehicle off the ground, it is always recommended that one end of the vehicle should be on solid supports such as ramps, so that only one end would be supported on jack stands, at a time.

Great BIG jack stands
These things are great. Nice and big and strong. They are bigger (taller) than your typical jack stands so if that's what you need, then these are the jack stands for you! They come in a box (see the picture) and there is really nothing to assemble, you simply slide one part into the other. They function just like any other jack stand. You can pull it up and it ratchets in place as you extend them. They feel well constructed and look great. I would 100% recommend if you are looking for a taller than normal jack stand.

Solid, tall jack stands
These jack stands are taller and have a wider base than standard jack stands. Therefore, they work great with my truck but do not work very well with my compact car. I guess my only complaint is about the terrible box they were packed and shipped in. It apparently had been taped back together a couple times by the carrier who delivered it, and still when I went to pick it up off my porch, the box tore apart like a wet paper bag and everything dumped out on the pavement. I recommend that the company upgrade to a stronger cardboard box. That being said, if you can get these home without losing parts from the terrible box, they are a solid set of jack stands.

Strong Stands
Husky and The Home Depot have done it again !
These Jack Stands' bodies are made of a good heavy gauge
steel with heavy cast steel saddles ! The bodies seem to be
powder coated black finish to keep them from rust and
chipping. The extended saddles are painted silver ! Their
reached height is about 18 inches, but I do not recommend
using them fully extended ! The bottoms of the legs have
steel pads to help them from sinking into the surface they
are used on. Great stands ! Be careful and enjoy !!

Husky 6-ton extended reach jack stands
The specifications for these Husky 6-ton jack stands are great, but I am not impressed by the quality. I do like that they have a lift of 2 feet and are heavy enought to support 12,000 pounds, but I am hesitant to trust the stability even on a level garage floor. They may still work as intended, but I prefer stands that do not wobble as much as these. In addition, a product at this weight with sharp edges should be packaged in a box that is strong enough to survive shipping. I am glad I did not count on this product for gift giving!

Safety First
I'll be very confident using these jack stands because they are really heavy duty pieces of kit. With the capacity to support 12,000 lbs. or six tons, they will be popular among both the automobile and truck mechanics. The ratchet is good and positive and there is no leeway so the extension will never slip. Another good feature is the anti-sink feet which will also help the overall stability of the stands.

Impressive Jack Stands
As a DIYer, I work on vehicles and Farm equipment - by myself. I want to use tools that are not hazardous because they are of poor construction or prone to failure. Very heavy duty stands
I always use jack stands when I am working under a vehicle. I have several sizes but these are a lot taller than my other stands. When working on my 1973 Ford F250 highboy I have had to put blocks under the stand to get it high enough. These jack stands are plenty high to reach the front axle even on my 4X4. Not only that but there is no question that they are stout enough to hold up an really heavy old truck with a big V8 engine. A nice addition to these stands that my other stands don't have is the bearing plates on the bottom. My other stands tend to sink into the ground and these stay firmly on top of the ground.

Rocks on flat ground
The Husky 6-Ton extended reach jack stands will not only be good for cars, suvs, pick-up trucks and vans, but with 12,000 pound rating would be good for some small to medium trucks. The 2 foot height gives you more vehicle height over the standard jack stands. The only downfall with these are the legs must be slightly different in length as they rock on flat ground.

One of the few places that still sell 6 ton...
One of the few places that still sell 6 ton jacks! Box arrived beat up but thats the shipping company. Don’t let the box fool you the jacks have a tough coating didn’t have a scratch on them. They work as expected, I used it to hold up my 3 ton f150. Felt way more safe going under truck with these holding it up. Truck didn’t move one bit while torquing shocks to 184 ft Ibs. Overall a good classic 6 ton jack stand set.
