AnswersThis is a very sturdy table and should be fine to use for a mitre or table saw. You might consider bolting the saws to the table or use a rubber mat to protect the nice top. Table legs are adjustable... I love mine!

AnswersJim... If I understand you correctly, the wood top measures 1 1/4" thick and the metal frame that the top sits on is 2 3/4" vertically when measured from the front. This totals 4" including the top and frame... I love this work bench!

AnswersDepending on what you're doing, yes. This is best for a smaller 1/2 ton or 1 ton press and should do fine there. It's not the sturdiest bench in terms of wiggle but that shouldn't be much issue using a press and there won't be any issues with stability otherwise (tipping, etc). You may want to overlay a top material of something more durable or at least some hard rubber sheet. Home Depot's response here...must not know what an arbor press is...pretty sure it doesn't qualify as machinery. :)

Worst manufacturing I've seen from a Husky product.

This unit is on sale for a reason. The two main issues I had with this are the adjustable legs and the pre drilled holes for the stabilizers. One of the adjustable legs was either welded wrong or had misaligned holes, so would not align up at all. This was not a deal breaker yet as I was going to see if I could get a replacement. I also noticed, after coming back from reading a review, that the pre drilled holes for the stabilizers were in different areas- I didn't think much of this at first thinking the stabilizer bars were made to fit the way they were drilled. Nope. It looks like the table was placed wrong or the preprogrammed drill program was off during manufacturing as you'll see in my pictures. It's about 2 inches off. You might get lucky and get a good bench at a great price, but you might get one like mine and have to return it after spending a lot of time trying to figure it out.

I mounted a Bessey 4” vise to the corner and the bolt holes lined up perfect with the leg bolts of the table, so the vise is super stable bolted onto steel. The work bench went together easily and feels ultra sturdy. The wood top looks beautiful but I have already put a few small dents and scratches in the wood, it is not the hardest. Overall this table makes a great work station and I would buy a again.
Great Workbench and even better with casters

Excellent quality and easy to assemble. As suggested in a prior review I purchased 4” casters(12mm 1.75 pitch) from Service Caster Corporation and installed them without a problem. I also purchased the two door cabinets/w casters to go underneath the workbench. Only thing you will need to do is adjust the height of the workbench. (Nine holes Vs thirteen as outlined in the directions that came with the workbench)

So, I made this “pedestal” for my 1960 C77 Dream. I bought a Husky work bench from Home Depot, put locking casters to move it around (had to drill & tap new threads) bought some E track and a Condor chock… Garage space is at a premium with 2 cars and 4 motorcycles, so instead of taking any chances and damaging the bike this is my way around that problem. So now, both of my Dreams are safe, secure, and up out of the way.

Picked it up via curbside and it was able to fit in the back of an Infiniti qx60. Since it was too heavy to lift out of the car, I removed each piece out of the box from the car. Needed two people to lift the wood table piece though. Just finished assembling it and love it! Easy to assemble as long as you follow the instructions and look at the illustrations. As others mentioned, make sure you determine the back and front side of both the table and legs (the instructions will tell you) — see attached photo for those who need visuals like me. From there, assembling the rest is simple. I did not need to use a drill for the screws - just a hex wrench, a hex screwdriver (both provided) and an open end wrench (14mm). I also did not tighten the screws all the way in until all the pieces fit where they belong. As suggested by one reviewer, I bought (4) “Everbilt 4inch Medium Gray TPR Caster Stem Mount w/Brake 130 lbs weight capacity” (about $16 each) to attach to the legs, instead —see photo attached of caster Overall, took about 45 minutes for me to assemble myself.
Defective table, major flaw

If you are checking these reviews and decide to still purchase the workbench, upon opening your product CHECK THE PRE-DRILLED HOLES on the bottom of the table first. After wasting my evening assembling the work bench I struggled with the last steps of adding the stiffeners to the front and back of the table. With a few attempts and no luck I came online to check the reviews, and discovered many people purchasing this workbench are discovering the same issue. I was excited to see this workbench on sale from $380.00 to $265.00, upon discovering this major flaw, I am convinced it's not a coincidence these tables were on sale and Home Depot is trying to get rid of their faulty products.

Perfect bench for multi-use

I bought this to use in my basement as my office for now. Can easily be transitioned into a full time work bench. The quality of the wood is exceptional!! The only negative comment I have is that you have to remove everything from the table top in order to adjust the height. Then you have to remove 8 screws in order to adjust.

I’ve wanted this table for years and I was finally able to Buy it. This table is so nice so I decided to buy it for my kitchen. I feel like it’s too nice to be a workbench. The table is very heavy and the hardwood is very smooth. I’m not exactly sure what type of hardwood it is, possibly maple. There is enough room to mount a vise to it.

I would not tighten the bolts for the legs unlit there in ,the screws strip easy. I added a bottom shelf for more storage.Very sturdy and nice wood. I moved it piece by piece into my basement.
