Husky 60 Gal. Single stage stationary electric air compressor features a cast iron, oil lubricated pump. 155 PSI maximum working pressure allows the user optimum tool performance. This compressor does not include a power cord. It should be connected to a power supply that is 230 Volt, 60 Hz, AC only. Please consult your local codes and a certified electrician before wiring this compressor for power. (This unit requires a 30 amp double pole breaker for proper installation)

Lasted 6 years of everyday use.
Bought this husky back in 2014 and now just replacing it in 2020 6 years of heavy use. I am also replacing it with a husky should be delivered today. This is the longest lasting compressor I have ever owned. It’s a no brainer it’s a work horse. Buy it.

Solid compressor for the money
I think four out of five stars just about nails this compressor. It works excellent, and the SCFMs for the money are pretty solid. The only thing I am a little disappointed about is the noise level while it's running. After 15 years of using my 30 gallon craftsman 6hp compressor, I was expecting this double breaker unit to run quieter, but it really doesn't. It just doesn't run as often. It's not a huge deal for me as I've had them both in a different room from where I work, but I was surprised it was as loud as it is. I hope this review helps someone out.

There was no exterior visible damage. But when the compressor would not run I pulled the plastic cover off and found both pulleys on the air compressor did not spin correctly. The drive belt would not stay on. I contacted home depot and they organized the return. No price reductions or consideration on the next purchase was offered. I ended up purchasing another compressor elsewhere.

Great compressor for the money
I think they may have changed the compressor recently. All the pictures from the prior reviews show a black top to the pump with a 3/8 line from the pump to the tank and a flat air filter. Also, all the pictures from the prior reviews looked exactly like the display model at my home depot. I have to admit I was not al all happy with these features after examining the display model, but figured with the $499 sale price I would take a chance. When I got the compressor home and opened it up I found that it had a regular screw on filter and a 1/2 inch outlet from the pump to the tank and what looks to be an aluminum top. I have attached a picture. Please ignore the piping from the pump to the tank in the photo. That is just my modification to cool the air out of the pump before it enters the tank. Trust me when I say it was a 1/2 inch pipe.
Anyway, I have had it over a month and am very happy with it. I have been doing a lot of sandblasting with my blaster cabinet and the compressor has kept up very well. With continuous non-stop blasting the compressor has maintained a constant 115 psi. I have never had to stop working to let the compressor catch up or noticed and drop in sand blasting performance. It does seem to be slightly louder than my last old compressor.
My old compressor was pretty old when it finally died. It was missing the protective squirrel cage around the belt and wheels. Now, maybe all new compressors have this, but I really like the way they enclosed the wheels and belts from the motor to the pump so that the wheel creates a blast of air that blows over the pump which is a feature I assume is meant to cool the pump down.

We have been using this Husky compressor for over a week in a manufacturing facility. We ran 200' of 3/8" hose to our plasma table. We were concerned that there might be a lot of condensation but have not noticed any. Even when we open the drain valve we haven't found any substantial amount - almost none. Our shop temperature is 53F, so the as the weather warms is suppose it may change. We haven't any moisture making it thru the 200' of hose.
The on off switch has become loose but we can still make it work, it rotates back and forth loosely.

Overall great value on performance to price even with delivery fee. My only complaint is using some tools, like an die grimdgr, it struggles to keep up even though the tool is rated below spec of air compressor. I haven't painted with it yet, need more filters and warmer temps, so we will see.
