Hello, Orlando; yes, apparently Husky stands behind this item, and you can simply go back to Home Depot and give them the flashlight and they will exchange or refund your purchase price. There is a link on the Home Depot website that shows the warranty is valid and that you won't even need your receipt! Here is the link; https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/4d/4d296c88-8570-4978-8ddf-35fc26630811.pdf Well I am impressed, it never occurred to me to try to ask for a refund without a receipt, but there it is, in print! I hope you have many years with your new Husky flashlight!

How do you adjust the light for the different light modes (spot + flood, spot, flood)?

You can adjust the illumination mode by lightly depressing the on and off button. Each time you turn it off or on you should notice the mode change. It took me a while to figure that one out too because the instructions didn't indicate how to change modes.

I was immediately impressed by the weight of this flashlight. It is quite heavy and reminds me of some other heavy well-made flashlight brands that I have used over the years. This flashlight uses 6 AA batteries instead of the typical 2-3 C or D cell batteries. I appreciate this as we keep large amounts of AA and AAA batteries in our home but hardly ever keep C or D cell batteries around. I’m sure this is to get a high enough voltage for the LEDs. The battery cap is easy to remove with a large rubber grip. The cap also contains the power switch and it is heavily protected by the rubber. The batteries are held in a slide out holder and are easy to install into the holder. It has 3 modes of operation, beam, flood, and spot+flood. The flood is supplied by an LED ring near the lens while the spot is provided by an LED emitter in the traditional location. The modes are cycled through by cycling the power switch off and then back on in the following pattern: off – spot+flood – off – spot – off – flood – off. I did find it somewhat annoying that you have to turn it off between modes; however you can cycle through the modes without fully clicking the power button allowing you to quickly select the mode you want. I was very satisfied by the brightness of this flashlight. I can easily light up the tops of my neighbor’s trees over 300 feet away and 50 feet up across my property when in spotlight mode. The flood light mode is also quite bright and for close up work it provides nigh coverage without a super bright spot, which I found is good for lighting up a good size work area without glare. Additionally, I found that if fits the clips in my truck meant for my 4 cell Maglite. Usually when a product says it is “unbreakable” I take it with a grain of salt, but with this flashlight I cannot think of anything within reason I could do to it to break it. It’s water resistant, drop proof, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it survived being run over by my truck with no more than a few scratches. Overall I am extremely happy with the this flashlight and considering purchasing 2 more, 1 for my RV, and 1 to permanently leave in my truck.

This is a heavy duty flashlight that puts out a bright & even beam. It takes 6 AA batteries that are included and according to the specs, will last 4-6 hours. It has three beam modes that alternate with the push of the button/switch on the rear of the light. This light is solid with an aluminum body and rubberized ends for shock absorption. It claims to be waterproof up to 1 meter but I don't plan on testing it although it looks like it is tight and solid enough to survive. It feels good to hold a flashlight in my hand with some substance instead of lightweight plastic. This will stay under the seat of my truck for emergencies.

I've just tried out my new Husky LED flashlight! A good amount of light is generated, surprisingly, since it only requires the small batteries, which are included in the packaging! It's a bit heavy, and is made very well. I am going to have it next to the bedstand! The old battery type of flashlight never did seem to be up to the task, it would be just about ready to die whenever it was needed, but this is a robust and modern unit, which should be the technology that they all use now!
