A: The brackets have hooks that atach to some of the cabinets at different heights. If the height you need is not on the cabinet that you are connecting it to, just trim them off with tin snips or a saw and screw them to the side of the cabinet with self drilling screws or bolts.

A: Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, this work surface is not designed to be wall mounted. It is designed to be mounted to the side panels of the Husky ready-to-assemble tall cabinets.

A: Either way would work. Stud mount would need larger brackets 18" or bigger. You'd get a better weight rating on legs though.

A: This is a heavy chunk of wood, I do not know its weight. I have mine on a cabinet for a base. The description says it is meant to be installed between two work cabinets and I presume attached to them. You could use brackets at the back to studs, and use a couple of legs in the front.

A: You could mount on the wall using L-brackets depending on the weight you are planning to exert on the surface. The wall studs are rated and you would want to use sturdy steel L-brackets. If you plan on putting a lot of weight/pressure on the surface I would use legs or at least use L-brackets in the back and legs in the front.

Th 48" version of this was ~$80 end of summer. How is a piece of maybe 24x48"finished wood and a set of mounting brackets worth $127 (and that's after the black friday savings too!) what a ripoff home depot, shame on you
