The pump used on the TF2912 is a Campbell Hausfeld pump.

Will this compressor hold up to sandblasting and running a da sanding cars for long periods of time

Asked by ChevyStroker March 30, 2020

Answers

The TF2912 delivers 23.7 scfm @ 90 psi. You would need to know that air requirements at 90 psi for each piece of equipment being used then add the values together. As long as that is less than what the compressor produces, the compressor will keep up.

Where can I get a electric motor for my compressor

We sell our parts through distributors. The part number for the electric motor is MC024500IP. You can google the part number and do some price comparisons. Looks like Summit Racing had the best price at $599.99. 1-800-230-3030.

The 2-Stage 80 gallon compressor does have an inner-cooler. The inner-cooler is the finned tube between stages 1 and 2 on the pump.

I HAVE A HUSKY PRO 80 GALLON AIR COMPRESSOR MODEL HS781003AJ AND DONT KNOW HOW TO CHECK OIL THERE...

Asked by PECAN December 6, 2017

Answer

This unit has a sight glass. The oil needs to be to the top of the red bulls eye for proper level. If you can't see the oil, It could be too low to read in the glass or it's over filled and above the sight glass.

After repairing the damage from shipping (thank you Home Depot/Cambell-Hausfield for the outstanding support) the compressor is exactly what I wanted. It seems that this model is only available from Home Depot. I really like how everything is provided on the compressor itself. Quick-disconnects, gauges, regulator, magnetic starter. Just bolt it down and install the power cord (separate purchase) and you have what you need.

We have had this air compressor in a commercial application for about 5 years now. Not a lick of trouble. It runs every day off and on all day long. We bought it for under $900.

Great product, have used for years
I have this compressor in my shop and I haven't had any problems during years of heavy use. I recently took it back into Home depot tool rental and they even tightened things up for me and fixed a small problem with leakage. Which is a very nice service to offer since the compressor is so darn big.

Very flexible
I would recommend this compressor because of its flexibility. I have routinely put it to the test with every job from home use to construction, it has always been very handy with plenty of power.
