A:  You'd take a little while but you can! Little by little, because if you do it very quickly, you burn the o-ring

A:  Yes, it will easily fill a small tire.

A:  You'll do best to take the part out and to a local bike shop or even plumbers shop and see if they have something that matches. The shipping cost for trying to order this part (and hoping it fits) is usually not worth it for most bike shops. Last option is checking on either ebay or alibaba.com and seeing if the part can be ordered (probably from china). You will have to measure it in mm and visually look for a match on their site of various sellers. If these options fail, buying a new one is your only choice. The new ones are better built and will last you many years. Good luck.

A:  The cost of the new one is less than $20. I would purchase a new one. Five years is a pretty long life for a pump I believe. Hope this helps. Pam

Quality bike pump with lots of options
I looked at other bike pumps, many that were less, but decided that this really had several options that made it worth while. The valve connector switches easily from the standard schraeder to the Presta valve stem...that is worth a few bucks right there. The PSI meter on the front makes it easy to see how much pressure is going in the tire (worth another few bucks), even though you lose a lb or 2 when you remove it for some reason. The pump will drive about 5-10 lbs of pressure into a bike tire in a single down push. So the core of the pump with the air seals, are really excellent. Husky is a great brand and it was the only Bike pump HD had in stock, but I was happy to select it over other pumps at other stores. It should easily last 10 years.

Owned for 2 months. The pump broke at the bottom where the cylinder enters the base. The metal is glued to a plastic bottom which shattered. Unfixable.

Not for use with water rockets
I bought this one primarily for launching water rockets. It worked great until one day it didn't; the pump started leaking air pretty badly after maybe 20-25 launches. I suppose if you're using it for filling tires, it's great. But I'd advise against using it for water rockets, lol. I'd recommend getting something that can handle the high pressure.

Only tried it on my car - not yet on my bike
Tried it on my car and the guage doesn't come anywhere close to the Tire Pressure system on the car.

Pump Guage read 20 lbs at Rest. Failed first try.
Pump Guage failed on first try. The Guage at rest now reads 20 lbs. Filled to 70 lbs and tested it was only 50 lbs. NO way to calibrate. Husky has a good name, but this product is not worthy of the Husky name. Returned it.

          Good quality. Designed well, too!
Overall I like it just fine. Use it for my electric scooter tires. Really appreciate that it has a built in pressure guage.
