Well I have finally reached that point in my life where a long day of house projects and yard work kills my back. That meant it was time to get a back support. I may look like my grandpa in it but I feel like a boss!
The snug fit and the adjustable straps keep me moving all day and now the only thing that hurts at the end of the day are my feet instead of my back. I have yet to really break it in on a big project, but it makes a huge difference doing yard work and moving things around up and down the attic ladder.
I will not share a picture of me in it. Trust me. I look like a beast in it! I feel bad for my neighbors watching me walk around in it shirtless though.

Getting older and having back issues and still wanting to woodwork and do construction and physical stuff brings me to owning this support belt. Never knew how helpful this item could be. As to this particular support there seems to be three levels. There is the main belt its self that acts like a compression tube . It fastens around you with a large Velcro closure. Then there are little fiber ribs that go vertically up your lower back. They are rigid enough to supply support and flexible enough to be non cumbersome or hinder movement. The third layer , at least for me, adjusts the direct amount of support offered to my lower back. All in all this is a pretty solid helper. I am not to certain as to the life span of this belt as it is stretch material like a compression piece and that's basically elastic.

Great price, works well, but runs a bit small and I hate the suspenders. I got this belt to replace my decade old Nichols back support belt. The Husky is a close match and the price was right ($15 at the time of this review). I am a skinny carpenter with a waist of 30”, so I was surprised that the medium belt fit me (32-38 waist). So I would say size up one higher than you are used to. The support is good and construction looks like it will last. But what was a big miss for me is that the suspenders are not detachable. I’m not fond of the suspenders they pull the belt up over time (skinny guy problem). My old belt has loops to remove the elastic shoulder straps. The husky’s are sewn to the belt so I had to cut them off. Overall it’s a good price but average functionality since I had to modify….so a C+.

This is an excellent back support belt, possibly the best in the market. I really like the suspenders which help me maintain good posture while lifting. I wear it whenever I need to do some heavy lifting as it provides me with both physical support and mental peace of mind I wear size 34 jeans and I find the medium size fits me perfectly. Since back pain can be so debilitating, I believe this is something everyone should have in their garage and use regularly to protect their backs.

This back support really works! I got it on a lark before my big spring yard clean up, including spreading 20 bales of pine straw, figured ‘couldn’t hurt, might help.’ In the days after my big weekend of yard work, my back isn’t sore at all! Big change from previous years, so gotta give credit to this back support. My waist it is a couple inches smaller the recommended sizing for a Medium (I’m 5’6” female), but the generous amount of velcro made it no problem to attach snugly and it stayed put. I velcro’d it on, pulled the suspenders up, and went to work. Wore it two days in a row for about 6 hrs active yard work time each day - It remained comfortable throughout the day, and didn’t cause any noticeable limitations in my crawling over/under/around the plants/deck/etc to grab and spread the pine straw, and clearly kept me in better lifting form than usual. Wish I’d gotten one years ago :)

Husky made a great and affection back support. The combination of great quality materials like polyester makes the belt durable and lightweight. It’s well designed to take off the stress out of your back and gives you confidence to keep work for longer time. The media size can fits waist sizes from 32” to 38”. The suspenders are great and can be adjusted too. Completely washable when needed.

The HUSKY EXTRA LARGE BLACK BACK SUPPORT BELT is a great product that is designed to reduce stress on your lower back and prevent injury when used properly. I don't do alot of heavy lifting but occasionally it is required when doing some yard work so i got this for those times and it definitely helps me from over working my back. The back support is easy to use because it's fully adjustable for waists from 46 inches to 56 inches and the suspenders are adjustable too. This back support is washable too incase you get it dirty or sweaty. There is a 3 year warranty. If you dona lot of heavy lifting i would definitely suggest and recommend this product, its a cheap price for a little bit of added protection.

I ordered the Husky Black Back Support in a size extra-large. I have ordered other back supports, but this one is excellent in comparison. When putting on the support, you put your arms through the suspender straps and the support around your stomach fastens by velcros. What is awesome about this support brace is that it has two ways of making the support tighter or looser. One support overlays the other support. In the back, there are sewn in supports that go up and down your lower back too.See pictures for details.

I recently hurt my back from all the lifting, carrying and dropping off and due to my poor acting back, it finally gave away. The amount of pressure that my back had absorbed into my L6 nerve. These nerves control alot of the upper leg muscles I was able to receive this item thru the home depot web site. Shipping was free.? The back support is easy to wipe clean and adjustable. This back support is well made and the shoulder straps are a great help. The hook and loop parts make it super easy to adjust, put on and take off with ease. While Im working in the shop I don't like to keep it on all the time but the shoulder straps are handy to keep the belt hanging loos until I need it and don't have to go looking for it. The material seems to breath well and overall is comfortable.
