This immediately worked, with one bit of advice
For the value of this, I recommend this tool for basic bathtub drain removal; in my case. I used a large 60 year old wrench used by my machinist great-grandfather, so make sure you have something as strong as possible for leverage! With this combination I was able to unscrew and remove a bathtub drain that is approximately 20 years old.

Saved me from hiring a plumber
Worked perfectly in the drain of my old cast-iron bathtub. I used a heavy-duty screwdriver to turn it. I don't think the drain had been removed in many years, so I gave the screwdriver a few hits with a small hammer, but it loosened and came off easily and went back on easily. I might never use this wrench again, but it did the job I needed it for, and I didn't have to call a plumber to replace the drain shoe gasket.

Broke Immediately
After breaking the Ridgid multi-tool with drain remover built in, i returned it and bought this Husky tool. It looks a little beefier so i gave it a shot. Well it broke on the first try. So now I’ve returned it too. If these tools were made of steel im sure it’d be great but the cast aluminum is not good at all.

I had broken off one of the 4 prongs inside the drain but even with one missing my husband got it...

All I have to say is you can't go wrong...
All I have to say is you can't go wrong with this tool. I was able to still remove the tub drain with one of the metal pieces broken. I recommend it to any DYI out there
