A:  This tool wouldn’t fit my kitchen sink. I guess it depends on the size of the sink.

A:  As others have said this meant to remove bath tubs, but if your drain has a cross bar it might be useful in helping remove it, I would be careful with how much force you used because it is designed for a bathtub drain

A:  This may work if the strainer has a the right size openings. You may want to try the Husky Basket Strainer Wrench, sku 1003005268. Another option is the Husky Pop-Up Plug Wrench, sku 1003005297. Hope this helps!!

A:  This tool has a large end, and a small end.

A:  I also purchased another tool. I don't remember the name. But it's used when the calcium has eaten away at the Drain. And you can't use the Wrench. You actually screw the tool into place then you slow turn to remove Tub Drain. This may be a replacement for the wrench. Good luck!!!!

This immediately worked, with one bit of advice
For the value of this, I recommend this tool for basic bathtub drain removal; in my case. I used a large 60 year old wrench used by my machinist great-grandfather, so make sure you have something as strong as possible for leverage! With this combination I was able to unscrew and remove a bathtub drain that is approximately 20 years old.

Saved me from hiring a plumber
Worked perfectly in the drain of my old cast-iron bathtub. I used a heavy-duty screwdriver to turn it. I don't think the drain had been removed in many years, so I gave the screwdriver a few hits with a small hammer, but it loosened and came off easily and went back on easily. I might never use this wrench again, but it did the job I needed it for, and I didn't have to call a plumber to replace the drain shoe gasket.

                      Broke Immediately
After breaking the Ridgid multi-tool with drain remover built in, i returned it and bought this Husky tool. It looks a little beefier so i gave it a shot. Well it broke on the first try. So now I’ve returned it too. If these tools were made of steel im sure it’d be great but the cast aluminum is not good at all.

Adding a rod to turn the wrench would be helpful.
