Q:What happened to that skinny knife with utility blade 01 in and folding knife on the other

Answer This Question

A:  Many products are produced on a limited run production line. The production may also stop early if the item does not sell well in the market place. As such home depot will stop selling products when they are no longer available.

Q:I just lost my orange one. How do I order another one in orange?
by|Feb 17, 2018

Answer This Question

A:  You can check online if any store carries one in orange and have it delivered to you directly or shipped to your store, where you can pick it up. If you cannot find one in orange just get one in any color, place it in a small pot together with orange peel in it and boil it for few minutes, then leave it in the pot overnite hoping that it’s color will change into orange. I cannot promise that this trick will work but of one thing i am absolutely sure: all HUSKY utility knives are the best, regardless of the color.

Q:How does the blade fold into the handle? It is stuck in the open position and will not fold.

    Answer This Question

A:  You have to press the area in back of the lariat loop, but it is extremely difficult to press. I have to use the back of a pair of pliers. I recommend that you google search a you tube video for how to close a Husky Sure-Grip Folding Lock-Back Utility Knife. After you close it, the knife blade doesn't fit completely within the sheath.

A:  I can help you with this super easy question: Just push down where indicated by my pointing finger and close the knife. I am enclosing a picture but I have not been able to enlarge it.

A:  You push where the indention is towards the rear of the blade.

A:  There is a portion of the back spine the depresses releasing the lock. Press at the place where the colored handle is slightly dipped and the silver steel isn't. Unless it is defective, that will unlock it.

A:  Just try to slide back the locking button and see how fast you will be able to fold it into the handle !

Great safe utility knife to use
These are very easy to use, reload, and safe after closing. Uses standard blades, these are great for gifts as well. No tools needed for blade replacement

Reliable, well built, and relatively inexpensive! I don’t like when I lose them, but I don’t have to worry about it either. I just go buy some more.

Total piece of garbage that does not work at all and very very very dangerous defect !!!. I thought my first was defective but just a fluke so I ordered another one and it had th exact same defect so it is not a fluke at all, they don’t work and are highly unsafe to use. The blade release does not work so you cannot change the blade. I tried everything I could to get the blade release to work on both of my brand new Husky utility knives, but they just don’t work. The blade that comes installed is all you are able to use and once it’s dull you cannot change out for a fresh blade. You are more likely to cut your fingers off instead of changing the blade. I used a pliers to grip, the blade firmly without cutting myself so I had even more leverage to apply, but the blades WILL NOT RELEASE. It is problem with manufacturing and all Husky utility knives do not work.

This knife is no different than zillions of utility knife in the market, except that it incorporates keyring features. It's a clever design implementation which I haven't found in other brands. This little feature offer a huge advantage over competition because it allows me to add simple keyring/carabiner; keep the knife buckled to pants, saving huge amount of time looking for knief when I need it.
