Q:Do these work well after knee replacement I install to fiberglass and need to protect my knee.

Answer This Question

A:  Maybe if you wear jeans. In shorts, they slide all over the place

by|Nov 25, 2022

A:  This depends on the amount of time you are going to spend on your knees. I would rate these for casual jobs as for a prolonged time they did not serve me as expected. Also I am 6'2" and 275 lbs so my stature probably influenced how the product performed. No doubt someone with a smaller stature might get more out of these.

A:  Yes, The Husky Gel Soft Cap Knee Pad will do a great job of protecting your knee and it will be comfortable to work in these!

      by|Jan 28, 2019

A:  I would try to find something with some mention of orthopedic benefits, and naturally, check with your surgeon and/or physical therapist. My understanding is you should not do deep knee bends after knee replacement.

A:  They seem fine for softness, but don't stay put very well.

Q:How do you adjust them from turning on your leg while you’re moving?

          Answer This Question

A:  That was an issue I had. You can't keep them from turning. I had to keep readjusting mine.

          by|May 5, 2019

A:  I have the same problem and have not found a way to adjust them so they do not twist off the knee

            by|May 8, 2019

A:  Worn twice. They don't seem to drop or turn when pulled tight. The bottom strap is not elastic.

              by|Apr 12, 2019

A:  I never found a way to keep them in place. I tried tightening and loosening the assorted straps, but they never stayed in place very long. I find this common to 90% of the kneepads I've tried. The best ones I have are not made anymore.

                by|Oct 8, 2019

A:  I criss-cross the straps to the buckles so that it helps keeping it centered. Once in a while you may have to adjust the position a bit.

A:  Not that I can tell. I used them in either knee and the fit was the same.

A:  Yes, the closure buckles on these knee pads should be on the outside edge of the knee.

A:  No. They are symmetrical. It doesn't matter which one goes where.

                        perfect kneepads for women
as a woman i have the HARDEST time finding kneepads that arent huge on me. ive tried so many brands and i have a small collection of too-large kneepads in my shed. these fit my tiny kneecaps perfectly and are definitely my favorites so far! the straps are “man sized” but tying a knot in them fixed that. im dissappointed because after using these for a couple months the stitching ripped where the straps attatch to the kneepad, but theres a two year warranty so at least i can replace them. if you overtighten the straps they do come unbuckled when you kneel but loosening them a bit fixes this problem. they dont slide around on me at all! wish they were made with more durable stitching but theyre still my favorite kneepads ill be putting an extra layer of stitching on my replacement pair for sure

These knee pads have been a joint saverfor me. I have used numerous other types in the past and skimped on price only to have sore knees. Now I can work in comfort while on my knees. I have not felt fatigued as I did in the past with other pads. The wide strap adjustment and snaps make for easy adjustment. Best worn over pants so as small particles do not become abrasive between knee and inside cup of pad. I have a tendency to work in shorts due to heat, but small abrasive items from work site can give rough knees.1

Ended up returning for refund. Strap goes directly behind the knee, so when my knees the strap dug into the back of my knee joint. This may not be as much of a problem if wearing pants/jeans, but when working in environments that often exceed 105 degrees I have to wear shorts.

I've never found a pair knee pads that I liked, but so far these are pretty good. They pad the knee well, and the behind the knee attachment was well thought out. A solid piece of material instead of straight straps that ALWAYS pinch are a thing of the past. Give them a try.
