When will these back in stock in medium size? They have been out of stock for months

Asked by Pauli November 15, 2020

I bought these on 6/12/20 for doing landscaping work...the finger wore a hole as of 6/25/

Asked by ERB June 27, 2020

Hi Erb, Sorry that the gloves did not meet expectations. Please feel free to reach out to Home Depot's customer service at 1-800-466-3337. Thanks!

Is there a size chart that one can place their hand on to make sure we purchase the correct size?...

Asked by Monkeyman027 April 9, 2020

Didn't see a size chart as I bought in store and was able to try on in person. These are very flexible and soft to touch, if that is of any help.

Asked by EKA May 20, 2019

The smell is probably from the tanning process used to seal and soften the leather. I have had luck using a lemon based foaming soap to eliminate the residual order. I do not belive that the chemicals used are toxic, but to be sure get an explanation from the manufacturer.

Looking for a groove to work with cacti, will these work?

Asked by TWeav April 18, 2019

Keeping in mind that almost no glove is "cactus proof", these should work pretty well.

Are they insulated

Asked by Rick November 20, 2018

They are not insulated

I would like to order size XXL. You’ve had then in stock before. Are they still available?

Asked by Bob February 21, 2018

If your store does not have them in stock any longer, please check online at If available online, any order (not just an item) over $25 will ship to your local store freight free.

What type (animal) of leather are these gloves made from

Asked by Hardhands September 25, 2017

Goatskin. Great for dexterity. Long wearing.

Are these gloves available in an XXL size? The XL is tight. The XXL would be perfect.

Asked by Michael September 17, 2017

No ... but they do NEED to make an XXL size because I purchased an XL for my dad and I AGREE they ARE to TIGHT !

20 hrs of outdoor yard work before the fingertips wear thru!
I have purchased 3 pair, I am getting about 20 hrs of outdoor yard work before the fingertip on the middle finger of the right hand wears through, I only use them for DYI yard projects at my home so they don't get allot of use, all three pair wore out the same way. At $15.97 per pair I expect better performance, My next work glove purchase will be a different brand, if I only knew which to select?

One of the best pair of gloves I have owned in years. Dug 100+ feet of concrete footer trenches over the course of 3 days in very rocky ground. Every inch had to be broken up with a pick before the dirt could be shoveled out. Zero blisters and the gloves still look great.

Although they seem to be well-made gloves of good material, they are very uncomfortable because there's a thick seam between the little and adjacent fingers. I think prolonged use will cause a blister there.

Soft and supple cowhide leather. Not really water resistant (gets wet instantly when it saw some rain) but it's really comfortable to wear. And they offer a Medium size for smaller hands. Sewn exposed rubber band cuff on the interior, not sure about durability but it does hold glove in place.

Nice Glove with Limitations
I like to wear leather gloves for yard work and one of the problems is that they can get uncomfortable when wet as the water soaks in quickly. So, water resistant leather gloves are attractive to me. These Husky gloves are made with nice supple leather and they are soft to the touch on the inside with fingers that are a little bit longer (eighth of an inch) than most of my gloves. I tried them out watering some plants for about ten minutes using a hose with a slight leak by the shut-off coupling, nothing major just a frequent drip, drip. Things seemed to be going well after a few minutes but when I had finished using the hose I could feel that my hand was damp. To be fair, the gloves resisted water ingress for a lot longer than my regular leather gloves would have. It was the seams that let the gloves down and where the water made its entry. So, knowing what I know now I definitely think these gloves are worth having but they will allow water in under some circumstances.

Excellent Gloves at a Good Price
I do a substantial amount of lawn, garden and shop work. A good pair of gloves is an essential tool. These Husky Medium Water Resistant Leather Driver Gloves are an excellent choice for just about any chore where hand protection is needed. These are made from a premium grade cowhide. I often prefer elk or deer hide gloves because they stay soft even after you get them wet. These Husky gloves are equally soft and have a water resistant treatment that helps prevent them from getting wet in the first place. I tested these gloves under the faucet at my kitchen sink and found the water beads up nicely. (See pictures.) I can’t yet attest to the durability of this feature, but I like it when the gloves are new. These glove run true to size. My hands measure medium and these are about right. My only ding is the construction/assembly of the two gloves is not perfectly uniform. (See picture.) However, the function of the gloves is not affected. I am also unsure why the term “driver” is in the description. They are certainly appropriate for driving agricultural, industrial or construction equipment, but I would not use then in the car or pickup. At less than $15, these gloves are a good buy, and I highly recommend them.
