These are great magnetic trays for holding tools, loose nuts, bolts and screws, etc. These tray are much larger than I expected from the photo (9 1/4 by 5 1/4). The magnets are really strong, so if you drop the bowl, the things inside will stay there. The trays also stick to steel surfaces, like your tool box or onto the truck if you are doing automotive work.

I was impressed by how heavy these are for only 9 L x 6W x 1 1//8 inches deep . The magnet is very, very strong. Made the mistake of sticking one on my refrigerator as I was unpacking them, took all my strength to pull it off! They arrived at the perfect time, just one day before my grandson had to replace the harmonic balancer on this car. He didn't have one bolt or washer got lost this time, tray kept them together.

I always wanted one of these, but now I have 2. Yes, they come in a pack of 2. I'd never seen the rectangular ones before. All I've seen was the round ones. This seems a lot more useful for longer parts like drill bits. If you look at one of my photos, you can see I fit a whole set of spade bits and my drill press chuck key on it. Really handy! This is also handy of course if you're working on your car and you want to hold nuts and bolts or sockets that you're using. You know how they tend to fall into the engine, never to be seen again. Probably the source of nuts and bolts on the highways after they shake out. It will stick on vertically too, so you can put your lug nuts in it when removing a wheel. Each tray has two pretty powerful magnets and they're covered with a rubber or plastic coating that won't mar your car's paint. It has a chrome finish to resist rust and a lifetime warranty.

ever find while fixing something that you need like 4 more hands? well these wont work like that but are a good start. often seems that you just need to set something down only to have it roll away. or have a handful of fasteners you cant afford to loose and need somewhere to set them but within reach. this is why god said let there be magnetic trays for craftspeople. i have one on my reloading bench that is small and round and now these large trays for the garage. i really wish i would have had these when i was changing the brake rotors on my truck. i could have then stuck the tray to the frame or the control arms and then put my fasteners and nuts and bolts there without making my wife hold them for me. keeps things within reach and where i left them. i shouldn't have to mention this but some people honestly dont know certain metals are not magnetic. for the purpose of everyday non scientific life only 3 metals are. iron, cobalt, nickel. notice aluminum isnt one of them. and only some stainless steels are magnetic. so if the tray isn't working, physics didn't fail you, you simply have a disgusting non-magnetic metal you are dealing with.

Love these trays. Soooo many uses. Each tray has two large plastic coated magnets that are strong but will not scratch. The trays themselves are very sturdy. Originally got them to assist my husband when he works on our car but I quickly stole one for my rolling metal tool box where I keep my craft supplies. The magnets were so strong I could hang my tools on the side of the tool box. This will be so handy when working with small pieces or freeing up that always needed table room by having some tools or parts hang handily on the side.

Wow, these were bigger in person. They are 9 x 5 inches and there are two to a pack. Each tray has two plastic coated magnetic disks on the bottom. They are very strong magnets. They will easily attach to any metal surface in any orientation without coming loose. In my case, they will attach to the inside of a metal desk and toolbox. Of course, the magnets are mainly to keep contents from falling out of the tray. I quickly added some bolts and screws and they were stuck very firmly. I held the tray upside down and the screws and bolts did not move. I decided to put a crescent wrench in the tray and it also stuck. I turned the tray upside down and the crescent wrench oriented itself and stayed attached. These are well made trays and will do very well to not let screws wander away. Well designed. Good product.

You can never have enough of these magnetic trays, available in many sizes and shapes these come in real handy when dealing with loose hardware like nuts and bolts. I use these for workin on my truck, assembling & disassembling furniture, toys, and anything that involves loose hardware. Never again have a nut roll off a bench or fender of your vehicle. These are larger which is great for projects with more hardware involved, easy to grab what is needed or drop hardware into the tray and it just snap in place.
