This is the best for that awkward corner space in the garage. I had constantly rearranged my garage storage units trying to maximize the space. This unit fixed that so well I bought another one for the other side. I did add the stainless steel top which looks great. I don't understand why these don't come standard with either the wood or stainless top because it just looks unfinished without it, and that mat provided just isn't going to cut it.

These cabinets are wonderful but the real reason I am writing a review is because ppl have said NO you can not hang the base cabinets.......WELL!.....I accepted the challenge and succeeded. Very simple to do and looks great. Here is a pic of my set up. Enjoy!

This is a well made steel cabinet. I already had some Husky cabinets, and got this with the intention of extending the existing cabinets. The cabinet comes assembled except for the feet. It is also all metal, except for the feet. I was a bit disappointed to see the feet were plastic, I wouldn't advise sliding this around if it's got some heavy tools in it. It comes will one shelf and shelf brackets. It does not come with a top. I was fine with this as I wanted to make a continuous workbench using some old counter-tops. There are 4 holes in the top that I used to screw the counter tops down to it and the other cabinet. It is sturdy enough, but I can easily pick it up and move it. This cabinet is not as deep as I expected. I knew it wasn't as deep as the one I was going to put it next to, which is another reason I was going to put on my own top. But some of my power tools don't fit end-to-end, taking up more space than I expected them to. I'd suggest carefully measuring the items to put in it before ordering. I also experienced on oddity. The 24" base cabinet that I already had, with the metal legs fully extended, is about 3/8" shorter than this cabinet with it's legs not extended at all. I had to make some shims to get everything to line up. Take this into account if putting next to existing cabinets. Overall though, it is a good cabinet. The doors open past 90 degrees, and they have pegboard holes on the inside. It's reasonably well made, I've already scratched the inside of the doors a little bit so don't expect it to be pristine if it's going to also be used often.

Sturdy, functional cabinet with some nice features. Minimal assembly is required. Flip it upside down and attach the four feet with the provided Allen head screws and hex key. The feet are adjustable to level the cabinet on an uneven floor. It has a single shelf that can be removed entirely or installed at one of three preset heights. The internal dimensions are 12” deep x 27” high x 24” wide. The front opening is 22”. I filled it with my power tools (see pics). There are holes in the top to secure an optional wood top, holes in the back to secure the unit to a wall, and a round hole with a grommet to provide access for electric cords. The insides of the doors have 6 columns of holes for pegboard hooks, approximately 5” wide x 23” high (see pic). The hinges are “soft close” and adjustable. There’s a keyed lock on the right door that rotates rods into the top and bottom of the frame. The right door overlaps the left door to keep it secure. The Husky welded 24 inch x 33 inch x 16 inch free standing garage cabinet is actually a disappointment after I received it and installed the leveling legs. The legs are plastic, not metal as I believe they should of been, It is made with 24 gauge metal, but seems to be a very light weight cabinet and not that durable. It will be okay for my use, as I plan to use it just for storage mainly, but if you plan on using it on a daily bases I would not recommend it at all. It is a good looking cabinet, I love the full length door handles with the key lock assembly. Good thing it has a life time warranty :- )

Husky delivers with this tough cabinet suited for heavy duty service. The steel construction is coated in a black matte finish that resists scratches and dings. Rugged hinges ensure that no matter how often you get into the cabinet, you'll have years of service with doors that always fit snug. The hinges also have a slow-close function; once the door is close to being closed, the hinges force a slower closing action to keep them from banging shut. The cabinet is welded together for additional endurance. A rubber mat that fits the top allows you to stack any number of tools or gear on top without trouble, and the welding makes it sturdy enough to handle a load. The shelf inside sits on pins that are equally durable, so the interior will hold quite a bit of equipment without worry. The shelf can be removed to provide flexibility in the kinds of storage you want. The only drawback was that the pins for the shelves were not packaged properly...they were just put inside the box to fly around during shipping. By the time the cabinet arrived, one of the pins had fallen out of a gap in the bottom of the cardboard box. We'll have to find a replacement for that. The feet are wide and provide stability. Because they are a heavy plastic, they will not scratch a wood workshop floor or other surfaces you want to keep gouge-free (like linoleum in your utility room, as we have). One of the tiny design details that caught my interest is the lip on the door. This provides a much more secure closure, and will help keep dust and dirt out of the cabinet when the doors are closed. I got the smaller size because we're just moving into a new house and we don't have a clear idea of how much storage we'll need. But we know we need something right away, and we started with this 24" x 33" size because we know it will fit just about anywhere. We are really pleased with this item from Husky, and will be looking to build out more workshop and utility room storage with the other cabinet sizes they have in this line.

Husky 24 inch 2-door base cabinet , 33 inches high, 16 inches deep. Comes with one steel shelf that can be mounted inside cabinet . Comes with a Husky lifetime warranty. Great powder coat finish 24 gauge steel. Double doors include pegboard panels for additional storage. Fully adjustable heavy duty plastic feet allows to adjust for uneven floors. They simply screw on the bottom of the cabinet using button head hex bolts which a hex wrench is included , Also a great feature are the soft closing hinges which are adjustable to level the doors out if the are misaligned like mine were. Phillips screwdriver needed to make minor adjustments. Doors can be locked with 2 keys provided. There is no wooden top however there is a black rubber mat that comes with this cabinet with the Husky logo on it that sits on top of the cabinet. A wooden top can be put on the cabinet if you choose to do it. Casters can also be used on this cabinet sold separately. All parts and directions and the hex wrench are included , There is also a round knockout at the back of the cabinet with a rubber grommet that fits into the hole in case you want to plug in hand tool chargers,etc. Safety strap and screws to secure to wall to prevent tip over. Overall a very nice base cabinet for tool storage in the garage or workshop. I highly recommend this cabinet.It's well made and I love the soft close hinges.

Really good quality, easy to put together. Nice cabinet. I'm going to be adding cabinets on to this now.

After opening, missing parts. Went to local home depot and was told there is nothing they can do.
