Asked by al September 20, 2020

All Viagrow Nursery Pots are BPA free and food safe. Perfect for fruits, vegetables, herbs, and edible plants of all kinds.

Is this planter BPA-free? Some of planters sold in Home Depot have been marked "Organic". Does it...

Asked by TeaSipper July 1, 2020

Yes, all Viagrow Nursery Pots are BPA Free and Food Safe.

What kind of plastic are these made of? Is there a # on the bottom?

Asked by granlobo12 April 4, 2020

Can the pots be left outside in freezing winter zone 5? Thanks.

Asked by Jan March 18, 2020

Yes I leave them outside with soil and dead plants and with small evergreens that will survive in zone 5. The pots are not damaged.

What is the size of the pot - I need 16 inches wide at the top and 15 inches tall base to rim

Asked by Bill September 28, 2019

11 in. X 9.5 in

3 gallons pot of 10 pack amounting. $14.70? Or 1pc 3-gallons pot amounting 14.70?

Asked by monsky April 10, 2018

10pc for $14.70.

What is the diameter at the base?

Asked by AC March 19, 2017

the price of $24.97 is for 20 pots? or is that per pot. just want to make sure that i am reading this right..sounds like a good buy for all 20.

Asked by nita September 12, 2015

The price is for the 20 pots.

How are the pots organic? Does that mean they are food grade plastic?

Asked by Sandra August 16, 2015

Look on the bottom of the pot. In the recycle triangle it should say # 2,4 or 5 to be food grade. If it says 1, 3, 6, 7 or up it is not food grade. Our gallon milk cartons are # 2.

what is the height and the top diameter?

Asked by dina May 5, 2015

What is the diameter & height of this pot?

Loved the product... but disappointed only 9 pots were in the box I ordered instead of 10!
These pots have worked great for our little garden we created out on our deck. The only complaint I have is that it says there are supposed to be 10 pots, but when we opened the box, we found that one pot was broken. In fact, only the rim had been included so when we checked the quantity as soon as we got back from the store by counting the rims, we counted ten, but then when we later pulled them apart, we found only a rim for one (the rest of the pot was missing). (see picture) Other than that, they have worked great. We were just disappointed to only have 9 since we had bought dirt for 10 pots. Unfortunately, it was too late in the planting season to wait for another delivery so we just cut our losses. But if we order this again, we will order it in the spring and pull all of the buckets apart before we leave the store.

Perfectly sized
The 3 gallon nursery pot is a great size for growing peppers. You could use a larger one, but this size is fine. Great to use if space is limited, like growing on a terrace.

Great for tomatoes
I am writing this review after 5-6 weeks of buying the product because I wanted to see the end result. And now I can say, THIS IS THE PERFECT product I was looking for. Basically I am a first time gardener and after doing a lot of research on right container size for tomatoes and finally got this product in home depot. Bigger drainage holes at the bottom not only helps you for drainage of excess water but are perfect for staking as well -you just need to put a stick in any of the holes. Containers are not very sturdy, however can be used for at least 3 seasons. One more important information I would like to mention -these containers are 3 liquid gals vs what mentioned as 3 trade gals.My tomatoes are really growing well in it .Great product for the price!!

Working great for seedling trees
I purchased these to plant young seedlings in so they can mature for a year or so before planting in the field. These are great, I'm able to plant all the seedlings in a separate pot and keep them better sheltered and watered through the first summer, the 3 gallon size is ideal for portability once filled with potting soil they are not too heavy to move but have ample space for the seedlings to develop roots, I anticipate being able to reuse these several times as they are tough and flexible to resist splitting.

Solid material that maintains shape and structure. Drainage holes are an appropriate size (enough to drain excess water and not clog but not too large that soil perpetually falls out when moving plants around). Price and quality (I have repurchased these many times already in different sizes and will continue to do so).
