If you have bed bugs or want to prevent the spread of them, you will need a cover for both the matress as well as the boxspring.
Hello: Thank you for your interest in our product. In regards to your question, yes it will also cover a California King Mattress. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us anytime. We will gladly assist you.
This cover does help reduce dust mites and is comfortable to sleep on even in hot weather. Withstands washings and use well. Is the best cover we've used and have, for several years now. -As stated in the Hygea natural product information online at The Home Depot- "Scientifically proven to protect against bed bugs and dust mites" "It also defends against allergens, lice, dust mites, fleas, and other crawling pests." A bit of dust mite info; -"Dust mite allergy" is more likely dust mite waste than the mite. Their waste is toxic, causing allergic reaction in sinuses and worse. The waste accumulates in pillows and mattresses as well as anywhere dust mites live, anywhere there is dust. Mattresses actually increase in weight by pounds over years, in many cases, due to dust might waste. Anything that reduces household dust reduces dust mites. Dust mites live and float about on household dust, which is mostly human skin, their favorite food, which also collects in beds. Reducing dust in every way possible reduces dust mites and their waste. -Dust mites need moisture to survive. Moisture from a body on a mattress absorbs into the mattress, pillow and bedding. Reducing or preventing moisture from bedding will reduce dust mites living in it. Allowing bedding, mattress, to dry by not 'making the bed' allows moisture to escape, depending on humidity, of course, and the mattress to cool. A cool dry mattress less desirable to mites. -This cover will reduce dust mites multiple ways. Foremost, in my opinion, by reducing moisture from getting in the mattress. Since the mattress is a perfect dust mite home, they simply burrow in for the desired warmth and moisture. The deeper they go also reduces removal by vacuuming. Yes vacuuming mattresses reduces mites and their waste. -Leaving the bedding off the bed, keeping bedroom doors and windows closed with air purifier on and daily vacuuming helps. Eliminating dust mites is near impossible. Keeping mattress from absorbing body moisture, airing it out after sleeping and washing all bedding in hot water helps reduce dust mites as well as other insects. Severe reaction to mites recommends only sleeping in bedroom, no clothes, changing of clothes or hamper in bedroom. Hampers is another perfect home for mites, warm moist clothes and skin. -This cover is the most comfortable we've used. Doesn't feel damp and is quiet. Other waterproof covers seem more like plastic, hold moisture in sheet against skin and crinkle with movement. This cover stands up well to weekly washing too. -Reducing dust mites is an endless task. Search online for ways. The mattress is the number one place dust mites live, or maybe pillows are, so get covers for them too. Perfect in every way, skin to eat, warm moist and dark, mites to burrow in to live leaving waste to breathe, in your case- for your dog, in return for providing them with all they need, to make life miserable. -Get a HEPA vacuum and air purifiers and be glad you don't have the allergy as I do. Home Depot also sells online closed cell mattresses shipped in a box that prevent mites from burrowing in. Our mattress covered with this cover has greatly reduced my allergic reaction to dust mites. Good luck.
Yes, It's worked so far (6 Months). My daughter's bed was getting bitten and it stop once I put this on the mattress.
Thank you for your interest in our products. Our XL Twin is for mattress sizes of 39"W x 80"L x 9-15"D. We have a size specifically for Full which is 54"W x 76" L x 9-15"D. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us anytime. Thank you
No you will need to buy one for the mattress and one for the box spring. You will need to buy separate pillow covers.
Yes. Bedbugs will not be able to get in or out of mattress or box spring when covered which will eliminate that place from them hiding. Moving the bed and cleaning vacuuming bugs will reduce their numbers. Removing bedding to allow moisture evaporation and cooling will help keeping bugs out of bed. This cover will keep mattress and box spring protected eliminating bugs trapped inside from escaping, definitely worth it.
Home Depot carries a full size
No, it will not cover 2 pieces King size box springs.
