I bought this to replace a small, conventional water heater that served one shower and sink in an apartment in my house. Other brands were either too big or too small; this one was just right. I was concerned that it might not raise the water temperature enough here in Washington but it produces very hot water. Another cool thing is it's small enough to fit between the studs. The only thing is, I can't figure out how to regulate the temperature on the unit, but otherwise, it's perfect. I purchased a scale filter to go with it to prolong the life and insulated the wooden access door to prevent freezing (it's on an outside wall, as shown in the picture). Note that you will need a 220 volt, 60 amp circuit to power this little guy.

We live in Ohio in a two bedroom, one bath home. There are only two of us and have a 100 amp main with a 60 amp breaker for the hot water. We didn't figure we needed much but past experiences with tankless heaters taught us that we at least wanted to get a full flow shower. We have it with this one! It delivers what it says! Of course, if you run water any where while in the shower it effects the temperature, but it will bounce back right away. So only do one thing at a time :) With only two of us, this is easily done. Hook up was a breeze with new push fittings on the market. I gave this water heater a four because I voided the warranty by hooking it up myself. With such a simple hook up, I'm disappointed with that. I also haven't had this very long and would like to know if people are still pleased after a couple years. One last thing, we have some of the "cleanest" city water in Ohio and still need a filter before it goes into the water heater because of chemicals and sediment. Do yourself a favor and put one in beforehand and a back flow valve. This should make it last a couple extra years.

It goes out very quickly
Unfortunately we had to put off instillation in our new home due to construction otherwise I'm sure we would have hit the warranty dead line to find out just how quick they wear out... Numbers come on, it reads the temp of water but, no warmth in site.

Good so far
Its a easy install. Provides hot water to my bathroom which is about 60 ft from the install site. Even in outside temps below freezing it worked pretty good. The only real question is how long will it last? I have tried several other brands and have not had good luck getting one to last over a year. Here's hoping this one sticks around for a few years.
