The Outdoor LED twin light provides plenty of light at 1500 lumens. With the dual heads, you can adjust to place the light where needed. The motion sensor has lots of features and lots of adjustments to accommodate most situations. You can put it into test mode just by turning it off and back on. That saves you climbing up a ladder when adjusting the sensor pattern. Keep in mind: the Color temp. is 5400K so the light is a bright white color. Installation is best for flush-mount against a flush-mount box that is set in a wall or overhang. I had to install mine onto a surface-mount weatherproof box (similar to the pictures on the product description.). This light base is rectangular with a rectangular gasket (not round) and it uses an offset mounting crossbar which creates an issue for getting the gasket to seal against the box. I had to purchase a different mounting crossbar that was flat, and a round gasket. Another reviewer reversed his mounting crossbar. Either way, it was difficult and time-consuming. Overall, a great product for retrofitting existing fixtures on an overhang or wall. Good to replace those old dual-head floodlights.

This twin head motion activated security light is well made, comes with clear instructions and easy to install if you have an exterior outlet box from an old light. This light comes with a weatherproof gasket. A control on the lamp allows for adjusting the time that the light stays on after it is activated. The flood lights are individually adjustable. The metal siding the walls of my shop is not flat and there was no exterior outlet to use so I mounted a horizontal board and screwed through the siding to a pair of studs. I used a fish tape to pull romex from the flood lights to pick up power from an an interior light switch. My unusual situation did require a day of work but I am pleased with the clean looking result and the excellent performance of the lights themselves.

Packaging: Overall easy to open, only 2 small bags for the hardware, simple. First appearance: I would give it a 4/5 stars, it appears extremely clean but right away I can tell there is some limitations to the maneuverability to the lights themselves, see picture attached. Functionality: Back to the lighting, cannot go directly down so don't go that high up, with that said the lights do cover a wide area. Another dislike is that the lights have a limited range of motion due to the way they are built, you'll see my finger in the picture as to what I meant. Lighting: LOVE IT, the way the lights start slowly to turn on versus going from complete darkness to a blinding light. The 240 sensor is phenomenal and cannot wait to get another one, the fact it senses me with-in one foot of sticking my foot into the doorway is fantastic! Dislikes: The back of the light does not have any space to hold any wire-nuts, it is a quick connect so you can place the wire nuts in the box or in my case, didn't have a box so behind the wall they went. The back doesn't even have enough space to contain the quick connect it provides. Picture attached.

LED technology has advanced as is shown in this dual light fixture. Hard wired 110V, easy, straight forward installation with adequate instructions. Lights are independantly adjustable to fine tone exactly where you want the light placed as well as how much light you want. On high they are almost as bright as car headlamps so it illuminates quite nicely. Includes fully adjustable motion sensor with variable timer or dusk to dawn operation. Bronze color looks nice with oiled bronze door handles and locks.

180-Degree White Motion Activated Outdoor Integrated LED Twin Flood Lights with 1500 Lumens. I chose this motion activated light because of the wide range and the very strong LED light. I liked that you have the option to choose the low light on at dusk feature, which becomes a full very bright light when motion is detected, and the fact it is LED makes it very affordable. I can also chose not to use that feature and only have the full light activate when the sensor detects movement. The rectangular shaped lights give an updated look I love, to the outside of our house.

This is a very well designed motion light which works perfectly in our carport/porch. It was easy to install and set up and can be mounted horizontally on a ceiling or vertically on a wall. The light is powerful and lights up the area well at night. We were looking for a motion light with a wide angle sensor so that we could put a motion light into our new carport/porch addition. The goal was to have the light go on automatically when we walk out of the front door and also when we drive up the driveway at night into the carport so we can see to unload groceries etc. This IQ America LED might met our requirements perfectly. Installation was pretty straightforward. Everything you need is in the box along with a set of comprehensive instructions in English and Spanish. Since we’ve just built the porch, I decided to use a round brown weatherproof surface mount box. The only thing I had to do was to reverse the light’s mounting bracket so that the indent was on the underside. It is pretty easy to do by unscrewing the screw that holds them together and placing the indented bracket on the underside and screwing it back together. If I hadn’t done this, the light would not have fitted to the box closely enough to allow the foam gasket to seal the edges and keep bugs etc. out. Including mounting the new surface box, I probably spent 30-40 minutes in total installing this light. Wiring in the light is much easier than normal thanks to the pigtail connector. This means you wire in the connector to the house wiring and then attach the connector to the light which avoids having the light fixture swinging around when you’re trying to attach the wire nuts. I wish more light fittings and fans were designed like this. Once installed you get an appreciation for how well designed the 180 degree motion sensor is. The vertical and horizontal angles can be adjusted without any tools and this allowed us to mount the lamp quite high on our roof beam (around 10’ off the ground) and then angle the sensor downwards to capture movement of cars and people as they enter the carport. It also allowed us to angle the sensor towards the front door which captures movement of people as they approach and exit our front door. The sensor has a range of around 70 feet. As well as being able to adjust the position of the motion sensor, each lamp can be adjusted independently both vertically and horizontally which is also a big plus to help get the light exactly where you need it (one facing towards the front door, one facing into the carport in our case). When you first power up the light, it goes into ‘Test’ mode automatically. In this mode, it will light up (even during the day) for around 2 seconds when motion is detected which makes setting up the motion sensor position very easy. If there is no motion detected for 2 minutes, the lamp will automatically leave the Test mode and go into normal operating mode which avoids a trip up the ladder to switch a test mode off. There are two main settings depending on whether you want a motion light that temporarily illuminates or whether you want an all-night dusk to dawn permanently illuminated security light. The all-night feature is called Hi-Lo and will switch the light on automatically at dusk at 30% power and then reduce to 15% in the middle of the night. Alternatively, the Hi-Lo mode can be set on a seasonally adjusted automatic timer where it illuminates at dusk at 30% brightness and then switches off automatically in the middle of the night. We just wanted a motion light, so we switched the Hi-Lo feature off. You can customize the length of time that the light illuminates for with 1, 5 and 10 minute options. You can also override the motion sensor and switch the light on and off at the light switch which is handy for us since it allows me to use the light as a work light in the carport if I'm working on a car or motorcycle. There is also a feature that I haven’t seen before on the other motion lights we own which allows you to customize the light level that will switch the light on. There is a ‘Dusk Learn’ button that can be pressed which will measure the ambient light and learn that this is the level of light needed for the unit to turn on automatically. The light comes with a three year limited warranty.

The body and components of this outdoor motion activated twin flood LED are a bronze/brown plastic composite that can't rust. The two LED lights and the motion sensor are very adjustable and the motion sensor has a 180 degree field of coverage. The lights have a high low feature for low night time security lights that then go to high brightness when the motion sensor is triggered. The low night time security feature can be turned off if desired. On the high motion detected brightness the lights put out a bright 1500 lumens of light. The light comes with good mounting hardware and good instructions. The minus I found is that the motion activation seems to be very sensitive and I have seen the bright motion activated lights activate numerous times for no obvious reason. I don't know if moths and bugs drawn to the low light security feature then set off the brighter motion activated lights or not. The unit lists for around $90, and given the cost and problems I have experienced I would not recommend this unit.

A very compact well built LED motion detector. The dual LED lights were smaller than I thought they would be from looking at the picture, this is a nice look compared to the flood light style motion detectors of the past. The LEDs put out 1500 lumens of light while only using 16 watts of electricity. The Home Depot web page has an error that states it uses 160 watts but this is an error. The LED lamps as well as the motion sensor are adjustable left and right, as well as up and down. This allows you to aim the sensor where you want it, and direct the light to where you want it. It has a Dusk sensor which prevents the light from coming on when the sun is still up, but you can set this light to come on at dusk and stay on until the sun comes up even if no motion is detected! It even has two light levels to select from. You can set the amount of time the light stays on when detecting motion from 1 to 10 minutes with the turn of a knob. It has a manual override feature for when you want to use it as a flood light and have the light stay on by flipping the light switch off and on two times. This only works at night when there is no daylight, and the light will stay on for 6 hours before automatically resetting to automatic mode. This prevents you from accidentally leaving the light on at your vacation house when you are not there. The instructions show the connections with wire nuts, but my light came with simple push in wire connections utilizing a little orange plug which makes for super simple installations. No more wire nuts and electrical tape. This little orange plug is becoming a standard electrical connection. I am seeing this on more and more of the new lighting fixtures. I really like it since it makes installation a breeze, and will make changing out the fixture in the future truly a DIY job. If you can plug in a plug, and loosen and tighten a screw, you can install this light. It comes complete with a weather proof gasket to help seal out water between the lamp and the house. Installation was a fairly easy. They provide you with 2 sets of screws of different lengths. This was the only glitch on the installation. The long screws were still not long enough for my installation due to my electrical box being recessed too far beneath the surface of the stucco exterior. I needed to place 3 washers under the mounting bracket in order to get the threads out far enough for the mounting nuts to catch. Unfortunately I lost my installation photos showing this. But you can’t go wrong with this light!
