Surprisingly long battery life! You do have to use these like regular foam hearing protection for them to stay in and give you the protection you need. Proper compression of the foam and lifting your ear while holding them in place as the foam expands. Then move the over ear wires around to find a position that is both comfortable and won't get caught while you work, I found a bend up on the end kept my shoulders from moving them around as I worked. I wore them for several hours at a stretch over 4 days on one charge using a circular saw, impact gun, blower, mower, and pneumatic framing nailer. I was comfortable and felt the noise reduction was as good as I would get with my normal hearing protection. The only time I had an issue was trying to wear them under my bee hood while removing a hive from a shed wall I had to cut into. The over the ear wires kept getting caught and pulling the plugs out of my ears. These have earned a place in my shop.

So I was looking for a set of noise reduction headphones that I can use in the yard while working with landscaping equipment. I have to tell you, I scored big when I discovered the ISOtunes PRO Noise Reduction Bluetooth Safety Earbuds, 27 NRR, 10 hr Battery, OSHA Compliant Work Headphones. They came with about 4 different size ear inserts to accommodate different size ears, a storage case and a USB charging cord. Pairing wasn't a problem, I have a few sets of earbuds so the pairing method was similar and easy. They charged pretty quick and they have a 10 hour working time which is outstanding. Getting accustom to fitting them into my ears was the only awkward thing about them. They have a hook type wire that you have to conform around your ear while at the same time trying to maneuver the earbud inside your ear. The piece that sits on the outside of your ear, (part that's labeled ISO TUNES in the pictures), is a little big so feels a little awkward. After a few days it became easier to insert into the ear but it would be great if they redesigned it a little smaller. Now while using them I have to give them an OUTSTANDING rating. So far I've tried them out using a lawn mower and power washer and was able to hear either music or talking clearly as they drowned out the noise of both. When using a leaf blower I had to turn up the volume a bit as I was able to hear the noise of the blower a bit. Overall other than the size of them as I mentioned, I was highly satisfied with their performance.

As a DIYer and hobby musician, I make it a point to protect my ears. I also live in a noisy household and as of late a very noisy neighborhood. Between home builders, home improvers, landscapers, and the latest noisemaker, which is the complete tear down and rebuilding of a bridge 50 yards from the house, it's hard to find a quiet place to make calls. These earbuds are not only good for making calls, but they also function as earplugs reducing surrounding noise by 10 dB. Of course, I don’t recommend listening to loud music while operating equipment for safety reasons, but it’s nice that they reduce the volume of my lawn mower while allowing me to take incoming calls. I haven’t tried talking on the phone while using the mower, but perhaps I’ll have to try it. Comfort: I’ve worn these for 3 hours at a time without any discomfort or inner ear itching. I prefer the over-the-ear design of these to regular earbuds and they’re comfortable. They stay in my ears when walking and exercising although the dangling mic/buttons can be tricky with a bulky hooded sweatshirt. I use the medium sized foam tips, but 4 sizes of TRILOGY memory foam eartips are included (XS, S, M, L). Because the tips are specifically designed for use with these earbuds, replacement tips are very specific (they come in a 5 pack... search ISOtunes pro foam replacement tips). The included triple flange silicone ear tips are useless to me since they don’t keep the buds in my ears tightly enough. Run Time vs. Charge Time: I’m guessing run time will decrease as the battery ages, which is common, but according to the packaging, I should be getting roughly 10 hours of talk/music time, and 240 hours of standby on a 2-3 hr charge. I can only confirm charge time at this point. Connectivity: These earbuds paired to my iPhone XR’s (iOS 13.7) and 2017 Mac Pro (OS 10.14.6) without issue and they pair quickly. The in ear voice prompts are helpful (“Power On,” “Your phone is connected,” etc.”). I can be 25-30 feet away before the connection begins to cut out. I haven’t had any significant connection issues with the phone bouncing around in my pants pocket either. Durability: The earbuds are water and sweat resistant. I haven’t gotten them wet, but I did get sweaty and they still work. Sound quality: In order to take advantage of the noise reduction rating and get the best quality sound, the earbuds must be properly seated tightly in the ear. If they are not tight fitting, sound quality will suffer. That means finding the correct size of foam ear tips included in the package. On phone calls, I make it a point to ask the other person if they can hear me clearly and I’ve yet to have a complaint with the noise cancelling mic (I haven’t tried making a call while using a leaf blower yet). When it comes to music, these are not audiofile quality. Not even close despite the 20-20KHz frequency response. They’re fine for recreational listening in my opinion though. MP3 quality audio aside, separation and depth of the sound field are decent, yet everything sounds smaller and compressed. I was unable to get thumping bass on any track including dance/EDM tracks. I messed with the EQ in iTunes, but every preset made the mix muddier. A flat frequency response sounded better than adding any EQ. So, bass is subtle with these. Hands-Free and Button functionality: Access to the mic and buttons isn’t optimal given the controller/mic float just above the shoulder, but I’ve adjusted. Location aside, the buttons provide all the functionality required for phone calls, but there was a learning curve. You can answer calls, switch between cals, end calls, reject calls, transfer calls to/from phone, dial last number, mute audio, and adjust the volume. For music listening the buttons are limited to volume, play/pause, previous track and next track. There’s no Fast Forward or Rewind, but it’s not a big deal unless you want to loop a sweet, inspiring riff that occurs mid-song. Accessories: Comes with eartips, a storage case and ~2’ USB charging cable. Unfortunately, there is no charging block, which could be a dilemma given the instructions clearly state these should be charged with a maximum 5 volts/1 Amp charger in order to avoid damage. Most folks have no idea what that means and perhaps it’s not a big deal given most Apple iPhones use a 5Volt/1Amp charging block; however, don’t assume because a computer or charging block has a USB port on it that you can charge these. For example, don’t use an iPad charger’s block or USB-C USB-3.1 Gen 1 port with a USB adapter. Be sure to read the microscopic print on your charging block or computer specs before plugging these things in. Dual Pairing: I tried dual pairing, which allows me to switch back and forth between work and personal phones and a phone and Mac, but I noticed the second device I switch to tends to experience occasional, although minor, cut outs. (FYI- Dual pairing does not mean you can listen to two sources at the same time). Overall, I like these and they work well enough for my needs. I can never have too many headphones.

Deafening, Clear, ANSI S3.19. Using the ISOtunes PRO Noise Reduction Bluetooth Safety Earbuds is 100 times better than using standard headphones. With multiple tips that have a threaded core there is no risk of them detaching while inserted into your ears. The cable mini-clips keep the length of cabling safely against the wearers neck. The ear hooks can be bent to form to the ear lobe for a more comfortable fit. The battery life will far exceed a standard work day with constant audio streaming. and will make it into a second day if used for only calls and notifications easily. There is a tip for every ear type can the dampening of sound is far greater than any ear buds could offer. These are a must for those who work around loud or constant sounds and need to communicate while working with protected hearing.

Similar sound reduction to my earmuff type protection but NO SWEATING!! I typically wear these on the tractor as it is very loud when running mowers or tiller but I also like them when using the rotary hammer, chain saw, or trimmer. While the bluetooth music is OK I really don't like any kind of distraction when using tools because I want to know any kind of sound change just in case the tool is getting ready to bite me. I do keep the bluetooth connected to a phone in most cases so I can receive important calls like lunch or dinner! Ring volume is adjustable so it is low enough to not make you jump at a bad moment but loud enough to recognize right away, and of course the phone volume is adjustable too. I do have to talk a little bit louder than usual to use the phone but the noise cancellation works better than I expected, the wife tells me she can hardly hear the tractor in the background when she calls. I wear the IsoTunes with the cable under my chin and the microphone box below my right ear. Before I got the IsoTunes PRO the only way we could talk while working was if I shut off the tractor and removed the earmuff protectors. Shutting down and restarting really doesn't work when she is trying to give tractor and bucket movement directions when I can't see around the bucket. Now she can stand away from the noise and still help guide whatever work we are doing by using the phone which is way faster and clearer than hand signals. I'll probably have to buy her a pair of her own soon. The color coded foam ear tips (by size), flange tips, charge cable, and IsoTunes all fit nicely in the zippered hardcase that can fit a pocket or tool pack. I do find the buttons are a little hard to use when wearing gloves as it makes it hard to feel the buttons, but that might well improve as I get more accustomed to the IsoTunes and specific gloves. There are only three buttons needed, two of them are for volume up and down, the other is multi-function to turn the IsoTunes on or off or to answer or hang up a call. Overall I am really glad I stepped up to IsoTunes for the combination of sweat free hearing protection with good noise reduction for phone calls while working.

The ISOtunes PRO Noise Reduction Bluetooth Safety Earbuds, 27 NRR, 10 hr Battery, OSHA Compliant Work Headphones are the worst headphones that I have ever owned. They do not fit comfortably into my ears, and actually hurt my ears with each of the various size ear cushions. They have huge bulky boxes that do not conform to one's ear contour. They don't have detailed pairing instructions, so I never could get them working. I was very disappointed in them.

These earbuds fit well and come with 4 sets of foam noise isolating "eartips" as well as a set of standard silicone. Although they do not have active electronic circuitry for noise cancellation the isolation foam is very effective. I can hear the mower running but the music is front and center. The ear loops are bendable to suit your ear shape and they are very comfortable. Charging was quick and I've not yet had them run out of juice. The sound is as good as any other earbuds I've tried in the past and the bluetooth connection seems above average (my other headset drops the connection with a head turn). I suspect the rubber cover on the charging port will fail as has been my experience with other devices.

I have a pair of traditional style, noise canceling headphones which I use for yard work and diy projects. However, they are bulky and after several hours they can get uncomfortable or get in the way. I tried the isotunes today and am happy to say that after 4 constant working hours, they are definitely worth the price. Now, its important to know that there is a learning curve with them. Take your time choosing the correct size of the earpieces, practice putting them in correctly and getting the right fit around your ears. Once you work out the kinks, you will be impressed with how much noise they block. I used a trimmer, backpack blower, leaf vacuum and tractor today and definitely noticed the difference. I was able to easily connect to my phone via Bluetooth and had no issues listening to music, etc. I like that the charger port has a removable cover.

These earbuds are AWESOME. For the money, they are the best earbuds that I have or have ever had. My husband tells me that they fit him well with the size he changed to after I tried them. When he tried them out with his gas powered blower, he also said they are amazing. He said that they were as good as or better than any noise reduction ear buds that he used in his working years. Yes, they are OSHA approved. The noise reduction is great and the sound from my iPhone music is also amazing with these earbuds. They fit and stay in my ear much better and the sound is as good as or better than my Airpods. They have several sizes and types of ear tips (foam and silicone) included so that they will fit any ear nicely with the appropriate size. The fact that they will last 10 hours is reassuring in that I can use them during long flights and travel days without the battery dying. They also come with a nice carrying case for storing in my purse or baggage. I don’t know how to express myself any other way on how much I like these and I definitely will recommend them to others.

The ISO tunes pro earbuds are a decent product. They come with a variety of sizes of foam ear tips that should pretty much fit anyone. I ended up with the extra small ones. This storage case is nice, very convenient for carrying around and pretty much no bigger than a can of chewing tobacco. They very easily paired with my phone. Very good sound quality. One thing that's a little awkward is they are designed to be worn over the ear with the wire behind your head. The controls for volume, phone etc are located on the wire that's behind your head. That makes it a little awkward to access it but I imagine one would get used to that. That's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
