Is good for hard water

Do these systems remove 1,4 dioxane?
Hi Steve, NO this system will NOT remove 1, 4 dioxane. Advanced oxidation processes (AOP) using ultraviolet light combined with hydrogen peroxide or ozone are the most effective technologies for removing 1,4-dioxane from water. Thank you, iSpring Water Systems LLC
Can the flow direction be reversed
Hi Mark, Yes you can un-bolt the black caps from the metal bracket, turn 180 Degrees and then re-bolt the caps to the metal bracket. The water flow will then be reversed. Thank you, iSpring Water Systems LLC
Does this take out calcium buildup?

How do I know in the 6-12 month filter replacement recommendation when it's time to change them? Does flow just stop or what?

Is this filter efficient for descaling or does it need the Ispring descaler installed along with it?
