Q:What Model Insinkerator will replace my 777ss? not so much on the horsepower, just on size, so its a direct replacement, im thinking of downsizing to a 3/4 Hp. Will the 900 or the complete model work? thanks so much

Didnt last
We just biught it a year ago and rarely used it as i have a strainer and never put food in the sink. After a year it just stopped working. Not recommended

Great garbage disposal! I installed it by myself.
I watched a YouTube video that gave me the courage to install the complete disposal myself. Here are a few tips for ladies who want to install the disposal. Familiarize yourself with everything before starting the installation. Buy an inexpensive bottle jack (usually under $20). Use the jack to place the disposal exactly where you need it before locking it in. If it’s noisy or vibrating after installation, then the mounting screws may be over-tightened. Loosen them up a little bit.

unfortunately, the garbage disposal badger 900 started to drip/ sipping...
unfortunately, the garbage disposal badger 900 started to drip/ sipping water from the bottom. I will return it to the once as I get a plumber take it out.

When your home builder installed insinkerator disposal fails as ours...
When your home builder installed insinkerator disposal fails as ours did 13 months after buying the house. This is the easiest and best option to get the sink back in operation. I bought a higher end model first but after seeing that I would need to revise my sink plumbing that was in limited space and me being 6’-3” tall I immediately went back to Home Depot and bought this one. Insinkerator should make all their models used the same matchup plumbing in my opinion.
However this one is really a great option for me.
Probably only a 15 minute replacement for most people. However I had a slide out shelf and shelf liner to remove and dry out that took more time

Great products trusted durability
Owned three homes over the years. InSinkErator's were in all of them. Got a new kitchen going in. Thought about reusing the present garbage disposal but i bought a new one. Will save 15.00 bucks and repurpose the electrical cord. I trust the InSinketator brand.

Many retailers choose to carry the uncorded units with a separate power cord kit in order to accommodate as many people as possible.
