Jam-Buster Wrench Accessory for InSinkErator Garbage Disposal

A:  You are right it should be hard to turn and eventually clears. Unless you can see where the wrench goes in case that area been damage I have no clue why it would be just turning.

A:  You probably have a drain issue, not an disposal problem. If you get power when you turn on the drain and can hear the motor run and spin, then you need to open up the piping under the sink to see if you can clear what might be causing the backup near the sink. If it’s clear there, then you have another issue further down the line possibly requiring professional service. Good luck!

A:  Try running ice cubes through the disposal. The ice will clean the agitator and hopefully clear the obstruction.

A:  It happened to me once. Something was stuck and it was hard to turn, if it moves easily maybe the clogged is on the pipes.

A:  Not sure what is meant by a ratchet tool. The key is that any wrench that will fit the opening on the sink disposer should work (e.g. large Allen wrench, socket wrench handle with the right size socket)
