A: Hi Shan! Thanks for your question. In general, we do not test our products and accessories for compatibility with other manufacturer's parts and products. You may have to reach out to your disposer's manufacturer to know what size of wrench you would need. I hope this helps.
A: You are right it should be hard to turn and eventually clears. Unless you can see where the wrench goes in case that area been damage I have no clue why it would be just turning.
A: You probably have a drain issue, not an disposal problem. If you get power when you turn on the drain and can hear the motor run and spin, then you need to open up the piping under the sink to see if you can clear what might be causing the backup near the sink. If it’s clear there, then you have another issue further down the line possibly requiring professional service. Good luck!
A: Hi Deeskiiii, your tool turning freely means the disposer isn't jammed, so it's possible a clogged drain line. We have some troubleshooting tips here that may help you fix the issue: https://bit.ly/3sZvVDS. If you still need assistance, you can contact us at https://support.insinkerator.com/app/ask.
A: Try running ice cubes through the disposal. The ice will clean the agitator and hopefully clear the obstruction.
A: It happened to me once. Something was stuck and it was hard to turn, if it moves easily maybe the clogged is on the pipes.
A: Not sure what is meant by a ratchet tool. The key is that any wrench that will fit the opening on the sink disposer should work (e.g. large Allen wrench, socket wrench handle with the right size socket)
A: Sure. But you want to use a back and fourth motion so this is the tool have and keep near the garage disposal
A: The wrench worked fine! regards, Len
A: I couldn't say for certain.
A: Hi Nad, if you no longer have the jam-buster wrench, a quarter inch (1/4" or 6mm) Allen wrench may be used in its place. We have a troubleshooting guide here that may help you fix the issue: https://support.insinkerator.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/515.
A: Ummm, it worked. Not much else to say, it is not a difficult process.
A: Yes. They are universal.
A: Hello! This accessory is designed to work with our disposals. We cannot guarantee its compatibility with other brands. Have a great day!
A: Hi fixit2019. Thank you for your question.
