I am looking at setting up a lube skid with air driven oil pumps, graco fireball 5:1 for dispensing and graco 1050 1" diaphragm pump for recovery. Does this compressor have enough beans to run these pumps 1 at a time?
You would need to compare the equipment's CFM requirements to the CFM capabilities of this unit. This unit does 11.8 @ 90 psi with a max PSI of 135. It is probably to small. Something like our Kohler Truckmount compressor would probably be more suitable. Would this run 6-8 numatic roofing nailers for 8 hours?
Most likely not that many. You would need to add up the CFM requirements for all the nailers and compare it to the CFM of this unit. This unit produces 11.8cfm @ 90 psi. My compressor keeps turning off. It will be running then it makes explosive sounds then it turns off. Why
Is it the preasure safety valve? When it gets to max allowable preasure the valve releases the extra preasure then shuts the compressor down to keep from over pressurizing the tank.
It has reached maximum pressure in the tank. The explosive sound is the pressure relief valve opening . The compressor then shuts down until the pressure drops below a preset value , and then will turn back on and the cycle continues/
