Whats the difference be tween 1 phase and 3 phaze
Single phase is what is typical for most houses. You get 2 "HOT" legs, 240volts when measured between the 2 HOT legs or the 2 busses inside the main panel... Typically 3 phase is a commercial or industrial electrical service. 3 phase has 3 "HOT" legs.
The difference is the number of hot power lines the voltage is carried over.

From what I've read on the warranty and other sites, in order to extend the Manufacturer's warranty you need to buy an Ingersoll Rand Start up kit. You need to buy this at the same time you buy the compressor. This includes their synthetic oil and air filters for this compressor. I don't see where this start up kit is available through Home Depot. Does this start up kit come with the compressor tor the sake of the warranty?
