I've seen a lot of reviews on here saying what a problem this is to install, and that it comes up...
I've seen a lot of reviews on here saying what a problem this is to install, and that it comes up within a few days/weeks. If the area is properly cleaned and prepped it installs perfectly. After grouting a couple of gaps left by someone else's poorly executed previous attempt, the whole area was wiped down with rubbing alcohol and allowed to dry. Quick measure, a quick cut and this product solved every issue that existed before. Not only did it make the corner where the tile meets the tub more watertight, it conforms to the grout lines and makes the whole look amazing. Can't imagine what a professional would have charged, but it looks professionally done.

Product had no stick to it, and when we peeled off the plastic to stick the product to something ...

The brand site claims it can be used in shower areas, but the claim for that application was just so not true.
I can see it would be fine as a trim in dry areas. It went on easily and looked nice, I but would never recommend it for any areas that experienced any moisture, as it failed, gummed up, released contact & got sloppy after the first exposure to moisture.

InstaTrim is designed to be water resistant and can be used in shower areas although we do not recommend using it where it will be in standing water. Was there any silicone in place where you installed your trim as that would certainly cause it to fail and release contact? Nothing will adhere to silicone only more silicone.
