no I would think not because I used mine in a toilet that was constantly getting stopped up. The toilet was full of water. A friend recommended it to me from a plumbers recommendation even though it does not say for toilets. Now if it’s a bathroom sink with a stopper I would remove the stoppers In case it discolors them. Just pour in and let it set for 15-20 minutes and then follow pouring the boiling water in after the allowed time. Good luck! Ps. Please wear gloves and eye protection as recommended and try to stay away from fumes while you’re timing it.

Is it safe to use in disposals?

On the bottle it states not to use in garbage disposals.

Can it or should it be used regularly to prevent clogs before they occur?

I’m not sure what you would consider regularly. But I would definitely use it for maintenance. I used it about once every 3 months or so and I use a bit less than suggested. It’s an excellent product.

Product worked where snaking didn't
In my case I had a kitchen sink grease w/food particle clog farther down in the pipe . Snaking it only put a temporary opening in it. The water would go down but very slowly. So I decided to try Instant Power Hair & Grease. I bought 4 bottles and poured it down the drain. I needed this large amount so I could be assured the product traveled down the pipe to the clog. I poured it in at 6:00pm at night and let it set until 8:00am the next morning. That's 14 hours. In the morning I poured 4 buckets of water into the kitchen sink. The water went down in record time. I'm very pleased with this product and i highly recommend it!

Safe, Excellent Product. Low Cost.
I only needed between a quarter to half the bottle (closer to a quarter) to unclog my shower, bathroom and kitchen sinks. Took about 30-45 mins to be completely noticeable after running hot water, but this product is a complete success. Cheap as well, only costs $16 in my area and gives you multiple uses. Will use going forward.

Miracle Liquid
I have been having a horrible cog in my kitchen sink for month. Even went as far as to replace the piping under the sink where I thought the problem was but still nope. opened up the entrance to the pipe in the wall and poured drain opener through there and I used every brand imaginable and every remedy on youtube and still nothing. Saw the review on this and started by pouring half a bottle and after used 3 pots of boiling water. it was still clogged but running a little better. I was desperate and poured the rest and let it sit overnight. Poured another 3 pots of boiling water and ITS NO LONGER CLOGGED! I cant recommend this enough. I can finally used my kitchen sink for the first time in months

I am amazed how well this worked to clear my clogged drain!
My bathroom sink was draining really slow. I took apart and cleaned the trap and connecting pipes. The clog was in the pipes in the wall. I really didn't think this product would work! Per the instructions, I poured it in the drain and let it set overnight. In the morning, I filled the sink with hot tap water and let it drain. The sink drained quickly! I will always have this product on hand! Very pleased!

Bad sink pipe line cleaned! Worked liked a charm.
As a home owner, I do many DIYs. I'm sure sound familiar since you reading this post. We have to lol. Had clogged kitchen sink, tried baking soda, vinegar, soda etc etc, opened up t trap nothing in it, tried snaking it, pipe was 90 angle couldnt get through it. Followed 2 cup directions left it for 30 minutes, nothing happened. Decided to dump rest of the 64 oz. Bottle and left it over night. Morning heated up a pot of few gallons of boiler hot water, expecting water to back up from line, but nothing. Left hot water on in sink for 2 minutes, cant explain the feeling after wasting Sunday to fix and not knowing if it will be fixed o3 not. So second round did it with more time. Hope it helps. Enjoy guys. Aamir M.

I tried three other brands and this is the most effective product. After trying 2 bottles of "A" brand and 3 bottles of "D" brand, my kitchen sink was still draining frustratingly slow. I have always used the "P" brand but with the "Guaranteed" , I gave this a try. My clog was not at the trap so I used up the entire 128 oz bottle and let it cook over night. Problem Solved the next day!!! Best $$ I spent. Excellent product.

I don't normally write reviews, but after dealing with a stubborn bathtub drain, I thought I'd share my experiences. I had used several other brands of drain cleaner in a bathtub that was clogged when we moved into our rental. Nothing worked, so we stopped using that bathroom entirely. We're getting ready to move out of this rental and didn't want to get stuck with a plumber's bill.. After reading reviews, I thought I'd give this product a try. I added two cups of product to the drain, waited for a hour, then added another fresh cup to top it off. Waited three hours then dumped two gallons of boiling water down the drain. The drain took it immediately. The drain is now clear. No need to wait overnight on a complete block. I wish I had done this when we first moved in so that we had the extra shower. Well worth $10!!

Been using this product for several years but only in the bathtub (for hair). I'm careful not to abuse or let it sit overnight only because it is so strong (luckily I don't have to). I clean out the hair with a pair of long needle nose pliers. Then I add about a cup of this stuff (make sure you wear goggles or some type of protective glasses). I let it sit about 45 minutes and then I flush it with water. It has never let me down but like I said only for hair. I've never tried it on grease. I'm always careful to throw grease in the garbage not down the drain.
