Q:Would it be fine if I used this as a desktop screwed onto a standing desk frame without sealing it or finishing it? Will it warp or move at all? I don't have a whole lot of time or the space to get a finish done, nor the knowledge. Thank you.

Nice top, but not using for the intended purpose.
Attached to standing desk legs with electric motors.
One side had more cracks filled with the putty where the other was cleaner. The surface was a little rough. Light sanding only dulled the color a little bit in high spots. It was satisfactory to me so I didn't bother sanding and staining.

Got 2 of these to use as my laundry room counters. Was disappointed because on delivery which was delayed a week, one of them had a Crack in the center on one end. Had to be cut off before installation. They are beautiful though and really give the laundry room an upscale look. Other then the Crack, I am very pleased with quality and looks of the counters. Thank you.

It is beautiful and the perfect size for a desk top we were hoping for. It cannot be suspended without support between two filing drawer units to make a desk - which was kind of irritating and just FYI - the notes said to avoid having heat around it. So computers might be a problem. But it is pretty and we are keeping it

Hi Ruth. Thank you for the great review. It also depends on how much weight you are putting on it and how much support you will need. All our products need to be sealed from moisture and heat.
