AnswersPutting 2 or more together to appear as a single unit would not work. They would look like 2 or more shelves standing side by side, not as a single unit.

AnswerYes, you can unassembled them, but you might not need to. They are a nice size for moving while assembled. I bought three individual units and plan to move them to my next home.

Adequate assembly instructions.
However, arrived with 2 small nicks, one in the top and 1 in the side. Material seemed well packed so do not understand how it got nicked, unless it happened in the factory.
Assembly required installing screws without starter holes, so more than just a screwdriver was required (instructions said only a screwdriver is required). But assembly was logical and fairly easy to accomplish.
