AnswerThe side panel inserts and back panels are also solid parawood but they are not as thick as the front and top panels. They would finish the same.
Can parawood be painted white and not show butcherblock pattern?

The the middle post beween the drawers was not aligned correctly from factory. I put the cabinet together myself and thought I did something wrong as the drawers did not fit. I hired handyman to take it apart again and see what's wrong. They found that the marker for the middle post between the drawers had been put in incorrectly in factory and therefore wouldn't work. They had to redo and charged me $60.
Other than that, I like the look of the cabinet. It's heavy but works well. (The drawers still don't slide easily, but I'll work with them.)
I've written Home Depot about this and haven't heard back yet if they can reimburse me some.

Good looking except...
its great except for one thing. The wood finished nicely except the two end slats of wood are different wood and look complately different when finished. Why would they to that? . It's bizarre. They sold this as all parawood and included these two end pieces that don't match..
