Great craftsmanship they fit together perfectly, the only complaint that I have is that the glue used to assemble the chairs was splattered all over them. That caused a noticeable splatter effect after applying the stain.

I love these chairs. Very nice wood, sturdy and easy to put together. I stained mine without sanding first and they took the color perfectly - minwax jacobean. I just wish they didn't put the sticker on the bottom of the seat because it took much pealing/scraping and sanding to get all of the glue off.
I did have one seat board that was split down the middle but Home Depot chat associates were very helpful. I had to order an additional set to get a new part since the vendor doesn't ship that piece separately, but the HD associate arranged to have the extra set with the broken piece picked up at my house for return. I received my refund the day after it was picked up.

These chairs are fantastic!! They are made of wood and very well made. The chairs are study and do not wobble. They look great with my black/brown dining room table. It did not take my husband long to put them together. Very happy with my purchase.
