Excellent Cutting Board!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive the Square End Chef's board!! It's everything I thought it would be and more. It's the perfect size for my small kitchen, and it's so pretty!! The board is thick, durable, and it stays in place while I'm chopping up my veggies. I like that it has 4 round, rubber grips on the backside. When I first received it, I rinsed it with water and some light soap. I rubbed some olive oil on it, and the beauty came back out immediately. I don't have a lot of cabinet space in my kitchen, so I put it on top of my stove, and it fits in nicely. I know this is built to last, and I've needed one for a long time. I'm so very pleased this is mine!!

This cutting board is made from non-endangered Acacia Wood. Since the board is 14” x 14” x 1.25” its a perfect size for chopping , slicing, and serving our beautiful appetizers. The Chef’s Board is made with end grain construction making it strong and long lasting. We love the unique pattern of the wood because it makes for a gorgeous addition to our kitchen. Also, our knives don't have to be sharpened as often and knife marks are invisible. Your cutlery will glide across the board. When it's time to clean up, wash the Chef’s Board with warm soapy water and dry immediately. DO NOT use scrub sponges; they will remove the top layer of natural color. DO NOT let it soak or wash in a dishwasher! Remember it is wood and can warp. This cutting board is fantastic. It's thick, probably 2.5" thick. That makes it feel very hefty and it seems to be well built. The square end grain gives the cutting board a unique, stylish look.
Now to functionality - there are 2 things that caused the 4 star review. First, there is no channel around the perimeter of this board to catch and liquid, ie. juices from meats. Second, this board has small, rubber or plastic feet on the bottom. This feature prevents both sides of the board being used for cutting. It is nice as it prevents the board from slipping as much while in use.

I have wanted a wooden cutting block, I use to own one a long time ago. I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. It was not as heavy as I thought it was going to be. The wood quality is excellent, acacia wood, and has a beautiful natural pattern. The directions state that it is easy to maintain and clean by simply wash with warm soapy water and air dry. What I really like about this board is that you can cut something your are going to serve, and display it on this board. I would recommend this product.
