Strong but not like steel
Maybe if I had waited 24 hours instead of following instructions that said cures in one hour it would have worked. Will never know.

I had an oil leak in the crankcase (bottom end) of my car and I imused Jb Weld to fix it. The most permanent solution would be a weld but I dont have access to a welder so for under $6 I faxed my car and got back on the road. Great product in my case

SteelStik did a great job on repairing a leak on a low pressure hot water steel pipe. Make sure the joint is clean and dry. I sprayed the joint down with a solvent cleaner to be sure there was no oil or grease. The cure time is fairly fast so you need to work quickly. Nitrile gloves will keep your hands clean as you knead the two parts together. The epoxy will get quite warm when it's mixed and starting to cure. The consistency is like modeling clay so it needs a bit of pressure to force it into the joint. It will cure rock hard in a few minutes. So far, a month later, it's holding fine.

I have an old cast iron jointer with a 1/4” thick table. It had a silver dollar size chunk broken out of the leading edge of the outfield table. I was able to make a perfect (within .002”) strong, smooth, good looking repair. IMPRESSIVE!!!

Product did exactly what the packaging said it would do. Saved me from getting a new fitbit watch. They aren't cheap.Used it on the two metal pieces on the watch band and the fitbit watch itself. Pieces had worn over time and wouldn't stay latched. Lost it while mowing. Luckily I didn't run over it with the mower. Looked for it all over the yard for about 30 minutes but then found it down in my zero-turn mower. Thanks to JB Weld SteelStik its good as new. No worries about losing it now.

I've tried lots of adhesives over many years. Some were good; some great, and others a sheer waste of time & money. One thing they've ALL held in common is that NONE OF 'EM behaved in quite the fashion the promoters lead me to believe beforehand. As such, I had no reason to think this J.B. Weld product, SteelStik, would perform any better. Nevertheless, I gave it a shot, thinking that if it put out at least half as well as promised, I'd be satisfied. Well, I was DOUBLE-satisfied because SteelStik delivered fully on every front - from the quick set and cure to the strength and durability - EVERY TIME! In the sixth photo, below, SteelStik joins three (3) separate lengths of piping together to form the inner-stem that keeps that heavy and valuable, 3' 2" lamp standing upright! In Photo #5, the entire upper portion joinings are fabricated in SteelStick! Photo #4 shows two (2) screws (and nuts) replaced by applications of SteelStik! In Photo # 3, the front portion of the right side of this necklace fastening was entirely broken off! I used SteelStik to re-fabricate the missing piece and attach it to the remaining half. The SteelStik fabrication was then sanded and gilded to look much like the rest - only a little better, I think! The next photographs depict projects underway wherein I have the utmost confidence in my J.B. Weld SteelStik: Photo #2 - J.B. Weld SteelStik will form the mounting upon which this carrying strap will be re-attached to this antique trunk. And finally, Photo #1 - J.B. Weld SteelStik will re-join all the pieces of this antique Victorian Garden Sundial & Gas Lamp! I know that people sometimes give positive reviews in exchange for compensation of one kind or another. This review is NOT one of those; I just think J.B. Weld SteelStik is One Totally Awesome Product that ACTUALLY DOES EVERYTHING IT PROMISES, and (clearly) I've come to confidently rely on it for everything from soup to nuts! If you are considering trying it, I'm sure you cannot go wrong by saying "yes" and being sure to closely follow the simple instructions for its use.

This stuff is absolutely great. Every guy's tool box needs one. I fixed an outdoor statue we have (arm fell off and patched lots of gaps when I reassembled the arm). I fixed the leg on a rotting out outside chair and it was solid as a rock. Millions of uses. Great problem fixer. Highly recommended.

Oh my gosh I wish I got this year's ago the top handrail on my attic pull down stairs became unwelded. I used duct tape for years. Finally decided to get this jbweld putty to repair. Putty went exactly where I wanted and it was moldable for any shape.

Not even sure why you guys carry anything else. The family of J-B Weld products are the best. They ACTUALLY fix the thing vs. other products that have fancy ads but the products don’t perform!
