really love this window. After 20 year of a kitchen casement fixed window I finally found this one close to the original window size. Just a few inches wider and taller than the original window. Once the window jam and opening was prepared the window went right in. Took a little extra time to make sure it's square. Worked great. Open's and closes fine. My family loves being able to open a window in the kitchen. Took a while (3 weeks) to get the window delivered but only about 3 hours by myself to install it. If I do this again I'll get a helper. It should go faster with help. The Home Depot contributor badge lists me as a Pro. But I'm not a professional in this field. I'm an IT guy for a small company. DIY would be the better badge.

Excellent purchasing experience
The purchase was for 4 windows. The units were shipped in very sturdy containers, they came undamaged. The installation was uneventful, the exact way you want it. These casement windows are such a vast improvement over the original aluminium sliders, it is no comparison. We are very pleased with the Jeld-Wen product and plan to purchase again.
