Q:can this be used for roll up screen? length would be 8+ feet. Or should I get a more sturdy one? So support would be only at end. Wondering if it will bend or not at 8+ feet without any support other than at the edges. Screen material weights about 5lbs.

This worked very well for my DIY baby gate project. It all connected very easily with no issues and it was accurate in size. My project has been holding up for almost a year now with no issues. I did not even use PVC glue so that I could easily disassemble this project and turn it into a DIY soccer goal net when my kid outgrows the need for a baby gate. This product met my expectations. Cannot say how good this product is for plumbing projects, I used it to make a frame to protect my small garden from birds. These one inch pipe provided the majority of the sturdiness needed to make the cage. Worked like a charm, holding 5 pounds of netting without even a hint of a sag. Great product for my use.

Purchased 11 pieces of this pipe in Waco, Texas. Piped about 110' of water line and when I turned on the supply had a major leak. Turns out at least one piece of pipe had a major manufacturing defect in the middle of a 10' joint. Upon further inspection, it appears that there was about a 2' section that had a defect on the inside that could not be seen form the outside. Another 10' stick was a couple of mm too small so it slid into the fitting very easily and did not hold a glue joint under pressure. Looks like better QC is needed at the factory. Only two choices are to redo the entire job or constantly wonder if there's another defect somewhere in my project that will cause a leak in the future.

It worked well for my purposes. I used it to make a modular "sukkah" for the High Holidays. As you can see in the photograph, it's holding up well. I'm sure it channels water well enough, but I didn't need it for that.

How good a product is can ONLY be determined by how long it lasts. Rating a long term product at the very beginning, may not indicate it's quality nor value. For the price, and the actual purpose I used it, it's a great product. It was used to provide additional support for deer and bird netting to keep them out of my wife's garden. Still need to add hinges and a lock for the PVC door.

This is a great sized pipe to use to irrigation and and water supply for homes. The extra thickness is great for strength. I used this pipe most recently to plumb in a whole house water filter. I do recommend you paint this pipe after installation to protect it from the UV rays of the sun.

I bought 830 feet of this in 10ft sections. Well, not really... all of the pipes varied between 9.25-9.8ft. This really through off my dimension sensitive project and is going to require me to buy 6 more pipes to cover my needs. I'm also left with a lot of wasted cut-offs. Dimensionally, this product short sold me.
