Hi Dennis. According to the manufacturer, they do not have a conversion piece to go from lopper to saw. You can however purchase the Jameson TP-14-S 7-14-ft-Telescoping-Pole-Saw-with-Center-Cut-Pruner-Blade-and-Rope. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Jameson-7-14-ft-Telescoping-Pole-Saw-with-Center-Cut-Pruner-Blade-and-Rope-TP-14-11/202533006?keyword=Jameson+TP-14-S++7-14%E2%80%99+Telescoping+Pole+with+SB-TE13+Tri-Cut+Saw+Blade For more information, you can also contact Jameson Customer service at: 800.346.1956 Or you can visit their website at: www.SparacoGroup.com Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. I suppose it depends on the tree. For my Bauhinia, it is about 3/4". You just cannot get enough leverage beyond that, with the pole extended to 65% . At longer extensions, the pole bends and a quick yank is needed to complete the cut.
