FG Series 3 to 21 ft. Fiberglass Pruner Pole System

A:  Any Jameson fiberglass pole is extremely durable and heavy duty. Jameson has been producing fiberglass poles for tree-trimming professionals and arborists since 1956.

A:  Heavy duty means different things to different people. It is lighter than another pole that I purchased but that other pole bowed so badly than I couldn't use more than 3 sections. This one is more rigid and with a little effort I can use all but one section; that's about the limit of my ability at age 76, not the fault of the pole. I kept the package in case I needed to return it but quickly learned it was what I needed. Quotes to prune for me started at $200 so I decided to do it myself, like I did when the trees (and I) were young.

A:  We recommend using up to 3 of our six-foot poles together.

A:  I just got it in the mail and am kind of upset at the other answers that led me to buy it thinking it had an end cap and saw blade adapter included.. in this package you get nothing but extension poles.. no end caps on any of the poles and no saw blade adapter.. it's just the poles.

A:  The saw head adaptor and the pruner attach to any of these four poles. That allows you to cut with either a 3', 6', 9', 12', 15', 18' or 21' pole.

A:  The pole set I ordered comes with 4 poles. Three 6ft sections one 3ft section. The poles feature a fitting, at the top end, to attach the saw blade adaptor. The saw blade is the affixed to the saw blade adaptor. Personally, I prefer the 13" blade vs the 16" blade. I initially ordered the 16" blade, but found it to wobbly. I returned it and ordered the 13" blade. The 13" blade results is better control of cutting branches/limbs.

A:  The saw head adapter will attach to any of the poles.

A:  No this is just for the poles in this package... you'd have to buy the blade adapter and also the blade itself.. it's still a good deal given the quality of these poles.. for the same price you could get the green colored set that comes with blade and adapter (attached already to pole permanently).. but this yellow set comes with an extra 3 feet and they are less flexible during use.

A:  No, this is just the pole set. You have to purchase a saw that is mounted to an adapter.

A:  No, I just got it in the mail and this is nothing but extension poles.. no adapter included to put the blade on.

A:  No. This does not come with a saw adapter. I personally got the "Saw Head with Adapter for Silky Saws" Internet # 207156157, and then I got a HAYAUCHI/TODOKU 13 in. Replacement Blade Internet # 206368637. That adapter clips right onto any of these poles. I'm very happy with the whole set, and the only downside is that one of the bolts they send with that adapter is too big for the hole in the blade, but I was able to find a slightly thinner nut and bolt set I had on hand. I read comments from others who widened the saw hole by drilling -- but it sounds like the metal was difficult to drill through. I'm sure there must be other adapters that can go on this too.

A:  The 4 pole set only contains the poles. The adaptor and saw blade need to be purchased separately. I needed the adaptor so as to make this pole set functional--- when I went to purchase it from Home Depot, they told me that the adaptor was discontinued by the manufacturer. Hmmm--- I called the manufacturer and they told me Home Depot dropped it from their product offering. Interesting--- Who's the buyer at Home Depot that makes such decisions??? How can they sell the poles but not the adaptor? Don't make sense. I found another source that stocks the adaptor and a 13" saw blade. I picked it up the same day, from Grainger Supply company.
