Don't Get This Tile
We're remodeling our bathroom and I wanted this tile for the floor. Before I ordered enough for the whole floor, I ordered just one piece as a sample. Boy am I glad I did! When it arrived, my first thought was that it's a really beautiful tile. It looks expensive and well made. I was concerned however that the pieces are super close together, but not evenly spaced, which made me think about how it would look once it's grouted. So before we installed a whole floor of this, I had my husband grout the sample piece with a grey grout (Dolorean Grey) just to see how it was going to fill in the spaces. I was super disappointed. The spaces in between the pieces ended up looking uneven and almost like they're chipped. I'm not sure if this sample piece was just a fluke, or if this is how they all would have been, but it ends up looking like old tile that's had a lot of wear and tear and has just been re-grouted rather than looking like a new floor with the clean contemporary look that you would think you'd get with this style tile. I can't imagine how awful it would have looked if we had done the whole floor and it turned out looking like this sample piece. I'll definitely be picking a different tile.
