This mosaic features natural basalt stone pieces cut in unique sections to create a stunning chevron pattern. The basalt's honed finish is accentuated by its dark grey color. Perfect for an array of styles, from traditional to modern. Combine with other mosaics and field tiles to create impressive installations. For best installation results, use white polymer-modified thinset.

- Grade 1, first-quality Basalt tile for wall and residential floor use

beautiful! with a few tips...
This black/charcoal tile pairs beautifully with my white shower tile for clean modern/boho/farmhouse look! I do want to say a few things though... When picking up your tiles, you'll want to really look over them because I found A LOT of them had imperfections. This is especially important if you're going to be using light grout like I did. The tile is already not TRUE black, more like a faded black, and the tile is very porous so when grouted white they were left more "faded", if that makes sense. I don't mind it because I love the contrast of the dark tile and white grout and didn't necessarily need the tile to be TRUE black. If you want the tile to stay super dark, you'll need to use dark grout, there's no way around it. If those points don't bother you, go for it! It's beautiful

Love this tile, very sharp looking accent for our backsplash. Tile is a little porous so we seale...
Love this tile, very sharp looking accent for our backsplash. Tile is a little porous so we sealed it with 2 coats before grouting. We oriented it sideways which eliminated a lot of cutting, so just 1 linear cut per section.

horrendous results, Tile too porous, even applied sealer prior to installing tile and white stai...
horrendous results, Tile too porous, even applied sealer prior to installing tile and white stains all over tile which do not come out. $1,500.00 mistake. extremely disappointed.

Not sure how a tile can be to porous when you applied sealer before installation. Usually the white stains are excess stain, that didn't get absorbed.
