Rust Block Medley 12 in. x 12 in. Slate Mosaic Tile adds unique detail to any bathroom or kitchen. The rustic green and gray mosaic features alternating square and rectangular pieces to create a distinctive look. Recommended for kitchens, backspashes, showers, accent walls, tub surrounds and vanities. For best installation results, use white polymer-modified thinkset and non-sanded grout. A penetrating sealer is also recommended before grouting.
- 0.959 sq. ft. per piece, each piece sold individually; piece weight equals 4.9 lbs.
- Grade 1, first-quality slate tile for wall and residential floor use
- 11.75 in. width x 11.75 in. length x 11.5 mm thick mesh-mounted mosaic
- Finish is glazed, with a smooth low sheen and random shade/tone variation
- P.E.I. rating 0 is suitable for walls and residential use only
- Non-vitreous flooring has water absorption of more than 7% for indoor use
- C.O.F. greater than 0.50 is recommended for standard residential applications and is marginally skid resistant; indoor use

Great tile
This tile was easy to install because of the square style. Be aware this stone does darken (like all stone) when you clean off the dust and seal it. Make sure to seal it the stone before you grout, I found out the hard way. Overall, it was an easy product to install and looks more expensive than it is.

I am very happy with the extra color this brings to the bathroom. Eventually I will have a glass shower door installed. I think the colorful slate will still show nicely with the glass shower door.

Beautiful stone and natural combination of earth tone colors that blend well with a grey or silver grout. This product must be treated with oil sealant and installed by a pro which will make colors a little bit darker but they really pop. Well worth the money and great value for a rich natural finish! Grouting is tricky with natural stone because of uneven contours and if this product is installed correctly you will be very happy with the results. Use a real tile pro who knows Natural Stone and install differences from standard ceramic tile!

As a quilter, this design appealed to me. I did not want a shiny backsplash in my kitchen, and the slate adds interest and color. My walls are sage green, and there is enough green cast to compliment the color scheme. It would work with almost any warm-tone decor. Some tile flats were monotonous in color, so I hand-selected the ones with the most variety. My contractor said that grouting was the hardest he's ever done because of the different thicknesses and rough texture. It required repeated washings to get the grout removed from the face of the tile. After all his hard work, it is exactly what I want.

You're going to fall in love with this tile. Keep in mind when installing that the tile does have varying heights. This is not like the run of the mill ceramic tile in that it is not smooth all the way across. I had the tile installed in both the bathroom for my shower stall and my fireplace. Out went the "pop in form" for the shower. I now have my own "girl cave" to take my shower in. Totally awesome!! I got rid of my ugly fireplace and had it covered over with the same tile. What a transformation. When ordering make sure to get enough tile as the lots do differ in hue. I can tell you right now you are going to love it!!

Just what I wanted
Some of the tiles were loose from the mesh backing but it wasn't a big deal to glue them down prior to grouting. Packaging and shipping was excellent and arrived earlier than expected. Considering it was slate, the patterns were still pretty consistent giving a beautiful overall appearance.
