Hello Ali! Will it hurt anything...probably not. Now, I wouldn’t recommend mixing (developing your own viscosity). My suggestion would be consistency. Be consistent on oil change intervals and simply use the manufacture’s suggested oil weight. Good luck, Ali!
1.5 quarts is the answer. When you crank that engine over several revolutions (without starting) that oil filter will fill and you will then get a full reading with the 1.5 quarts. Good luck sir!
