This Black 2 piece rain suit has an awesome reflectors on the front and rear of the suit. I can really appreciate this while riding my bike, motorcycle and doing outdoor cleaning. The 2 piece is waterproof with breathable mesh and fits me perfectly over my clothing. The pants include a zipper 2 front/ 1 rear pocket that can keep your items secure while in motion unlike other rain suits. You have the options to hide away/remove the hood very easily. The jacket is very comfortable, lightweight and has 2 hidden pockets under the storm flap. You'll notice on the jacket has several velcro in parts along the front zipper for added protection. The rainsuit is size large and made of polyester and polyurethane material. I can say it looks great on my wife and I while in use.

This is a well made rain suit. The XL is sized big enough (at least for me – and for my wife) to easily fit over cold weather clothing. The material is something that seems like it is more suited for cold weather because it does not look like it will breathe quite as well as some of the summer rain gear I have tried. Granted the jacked does have some mesh in it that helps with that but I still think it will hold in the heat a bit. So, it's bit warm for summer use in my opinion (summer here in the south anyway). I have a summer rain jacket from an outdoor outfitter that is a lot lighter than this. But this is perfectly OK because the use we have for this is sitting out later in the year watching football games and it is perfect for that since it tends to be cooler then anyway. The white strips on it are reflective. I did not notice that until I took a picture and looked at the picture with the strips lit up like lights in the flash. That could be handy when you are walking along a dark street (such as when walking to the stadium of course). There's a handy jacket pocket you can access without opening the whole thing and that is perfect for stashing a cell phone and keeping it dry yet accessible. Overall it is a nice and quite comfortable rain suit. I like it better than some others I've looked at and considered because they are made out of that material that is noisy with every movement - and I find that annoying. This is a softer, quieter material. All the attachments are velcro instead of snaps. I'm not sure how I feel about the velcro but they work well enough. Time will tell based on how well the velcro holds up. But the fasteners are easy enough to operate. The hood comes out and stows back pretty easily.

I got the John Deere Lightweight Rain Suit especially for those rainy fall or spring days when staying indoors isn't an option. The wide zippered leg openings allow you to pull the pants on over shoes, while snaps allow you to cinch the ankles slightly. The pants have two zippered pockets on the front and one on the rear. The jacket is vented in the back for breathability. It also has adjustable cuffs and a hood that stows in the collar. Both the pants and jacket have reflective strips for low light safety.
With the reusable package, this suit will store easily in a vehicle or work locker for convenient access.

This is a nice rain suit that has everything I would have wanted. Its compact enough to bring with you where ever you go. Came nicely packaged. Has several pockets on both the jacket and the pants. Fairly adjustable with several straps and elastics cuffs. I will say its a bit baggy for the size I usually wear (XL). Overall, this is a very nice set up for camping and I'm sure I'll be putting it to good use soon.

Weighing in at less than a couple of pounds, this is certainly a light weight and yet it is a tough yet soft polyester/polyurethane material that slips on comfortably.
The suite I requested is an XL size and at 6 feet tall and weighing 180LBS it fitted perfectly with room to spare if extra clothing is required.
Wearing it for the first time during a rain storm, I walked for an hour and when removed, I was perfectly dry with no sign of any of the rain getting though. The hook and loop closers on the storm flap are more than adequate in keeping the moisture out. The adjustable hood worked flawlessly once the drawstring was fastened and can be removed if so desired.
The zippered pocket which is under the storm flap is very useful as well as the Velcro closures pockets.
The elastic waistband fits snugly and is not loose at all.
Overall this `wet suite` is a very good addition and fits well over jeans and a jacket and is made even better for the jacket and trousers to be separate. A good buy and well recommended.

Worn three times. Second time the zipper pull broke....
Worn three times. Second time the zipper pull broke. Third time the pants leaked thru the seat area. Plan on returning the rain suite.

I've had a few of the much cheaper non John...
I've had a few of the much cheaper non John Deere yellow suits over the years but have always had to replace due to leaks or tears twice a year. This suit is well made, seams zippers pockets and at this point has been waterproof. I also like the placement of the reflective bands. I'm happy so far. We'll see how it holds up over time.
