Q:My plumber used this on connecting two half-inch drain lines but the joint is leaking. Would it help to use some pipe dope on the lines before pushing them in?

Q:Do you need to use brass sleeves in the 1/4 lines that are being joined or is there no worry of it collapsing? I know when you use compression fitting you have to use the brass sleeve otherwise it will collapse in on itself.

Q:This product says 5/16" "OD", but seems to be talking about "ID", and why would anyone care what the OD is on this product anyhow. So, what please is the actual ID (Inner Diamter) of each end? So, many products are mislabed, please actually measure ID.
