No I had not problems, with one side faced it helps a lot, and it went right in between the studs,
9' x 37' = 333 square feet so you would need 333 sq ft of material, which is 5-6 bags worth.
Coverage area per bag is ~68 sq. ft. Thank you.
If you are looking for coverage, then using R15 Kraft faced 15” x 93”, 10 bags at 67 sq. ft. per bag should provide sufficient coverage inside the shed including the roof. Please keep in mind that Kraft-faced should not be left exposed. Kraft paper should be in substantial contact with dry-wall or other substrate. If you are not heating/cooling the shed, then insulation alone would not help you achieve comfort. Also, IRC/IBC does not require insulating of the unoccupied spaces.
This product works for 2x4 walls and is the correct thickness for your project.
Hello Nick, Thank you for your interest in Johns Manville's fiberglass batt insulation. The product that you are referencing has a coverage of 67.8 square feet per bag. Assuming you have 8 feet walls and you are insulating all four walls and the ceiling, you would have 960 square feet to insulate. This would take approximately 14 bags of material. Best regards, Doug Fast
There are 7 pieces per bag. Thank you.
This should be the correct product for your framing. When sizing the insulation you should make sure you are completely filling the cavity.
