Love At First Use !
I'm almost 60 years old and this is my first rafter square. I used it to make multiple cuts on 2 x 4's and when I fliped it over on the same line it showed dead on square lines. Thats all I bought it for. I layed out square lines and made a great saw guide with a hand saw. It's small enough to not be too cumbersome when cutting 2 x 4's. I was worried about cutting into the edge with the saw and ruining the straight edge, but it came thru unscathed. It was so low priced, I plan on getting at least one spare. I'll never be without one again.

Handy for more than contractors
Find this tool to be handy for more than just rafters & contractor work. Use it for many items in my wood shop that don't require ultra precision setup needs. Handy, durable & easy to find; orange!

Good for the casual project
Sturdy and lightweight. Love the orange color, it makes it much easier to find in a pile of lumber or tools. Works good if using a pencil to mark, but if using a blade to mark or cut against the square it can dig into the plastic.
