According to the manufacturer's website, Pony Tools Inc. (founded 1903) is the manufacturer of the Jorgensen Cabinet Master Parallel bar clamps which are made with U.S. and foreign parts in their Chicago, IL factory. (see: http://www.ponytools.com/index.php/jorgensen/bar-clamps). These are very high-quality parallel clamps (I have two 24") at an excellent price. I am buying five 48-inchers tomorrow for my home workshop project making multiple edge glued hardwood bench tops.

Do not buy these clamps
I bought 4 of these clamps for a project I was working on and upon tightening down the first clamp the casting that the bar slides through broke (see picture).I threw all 4 back in the bag and will be returning them to Home Depot. DO NOT BUY THIS CLAMP. If you want this type of clamp, buy the one made by Bessey. I've used a couple of those for years with no problems.

Great clamps - worth the investment
Solid, heavy, rugged, strong, amazing grip, ease of use -- all the things my grandpa would say about his best tools as he passed them down to my father and me. These clamps will be around for a while, and I can't wait to find more things to do with them! I started with the 48" even though most my projects will be smaller than that, but I figured it would keep me from having to buy multiple sets. I only bought 2 but will probably pick up an additional pair for larger (longer) projects. I used 2 for my 7' long x 3' wide butcher block style picnic table and they worked good - another pair would have been optimal. But even only the two were strong enough to straighten up some warped pieces in the glue-ups. Great purchase!

Very nice clamps
I am very pleased with my cabinetmaster clamps. They are easy to use, strong and deliver flat glue-ups. I definately recommend these clamps.

These work great! I have four and plan to get more. They put plenty of pressure on boards for a tight fit.

Versatile
Jaws have a large surface area which reduce indentation and grabs a lot of material. Able to provide a lot of clamping pressure. The jaws can be reversed to spread out as well as clamp together.

Easy to use clamp
This is a much easier clamp to use than others I own that have a lever you must pull up to open.

Works great
This works great but it is really heavy. If they would come out with a clamp that did the same job but at less weight, I would buy several. It just takes some getting used to as it is so heavy. Home Depot price was less than Amazon!
