For the overall size of this thing you would think it could cook more at one time, but you can't. I had problems with the oil tray not closing down so the company replaced it and now the stupid thing has another problem, it just goes off in the middle of frying. Taking it back to the store and getting something else. I tried.

The Kalorik deep fryer is just what I wanted. I am able to drain the oil into the resevoir and clean the the heating element and pan. The oil stays hot when frying multiple batches or fish, chicken, or frys. My two complaints are 1) the basket needs to be bigger 2) the lid on the resevoir doesn'tn fit tight. Bought this on sale with free shipping and I am happy with the purchase.
