MAXX 26 qt. Air Fryer Oven

l bought this because I have an air fryer but I couldn't bake or toast in it and I was tired of heating up my kitchen with my oven. It cooks amazing. Everything has come out great. I am having to learn to cut back on the time it normally would have taken with my other appliances because it cooks so much faster. The air fryer itself is not very loud at all. The first time I used it I actually had to look to make sure it was on. For the price you cannot beat it. I have the one with the knobs so I don't have to worry about any of the wording rubbing off. Everything has tasted great so far. Would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kalorik Maxx Air Fryer Oven is a wonderful surprise! Upon arriving, I was pleased to see that the actual product was in the original box and placed in a shipping box. Well cushioned, packed, sealed and arrived with no damage. Set up was simple. Books are included, giving detailed instructions for use, plus a quick start guide for basic directions. Recipe book has nice recipes to try as you learn your new oven. Controls are very accessible on front of oven. One point: dials are shiny and the ridge for using to set dials is hard to line up with temp and timer. Doors are clearly marked for height adjustment of shelves. No need to guess! Open doors stay fully extended, making it easy to fill and remove food. I experienced no safety issues; slight odor with first heating. Safeguards are listed on pages 6 through 9 of book. First thing I tried was the basic chicken nuggets and fries. Wonderful results!! First batch was dark, but with a little temperature adjustment and flipping half way through cooking time, the results were great! You can see in the photo that the breading was toasted and the chicken was cooked! Fries were crisp and soft inside. I have used the other functions with success; I have not yet used the broil feature. The book does provide basic temperatures and times for a variety of food, but it is up to the cook to adjust these to your preference. Just as any other appliance, there is a little learning curve to achieve your preference. In conclusion, I find this Kalorik oven to meet and exceed my expectations. Power and versatility are high on my list! I will be donating my inexpensive toaster oven to a thrift store and am looking forward to new and old recipes prepared in my Kalorik!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a month ago and it is almost perfect! I made great hand apple pies with this and they came out amazing. There are so many functionalities with this oven and I love how the doors open wide. The built quality is terrific, and you can tell it’s going to last a long time. There are 2 things I would change, first it’s a little too big (takes a good amount of countertop space). Second, I wish there was a digital display so I can set the exact time and temp without guessing using the knobs. Overall, I highly recommend this oven if you have the countertop space.

The timer and presets are simple and easy to use and the oven works real well the two shelves are useful if you have more than one tray of food. Minor complaint is that the button sounds are quite loud and there’s no way to change that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cooked 8 meals in the first two days and have used it at least once every day since. Favorite features: Quiet and it heats up to 500 degrees. I’m having a lot of fun with this air fryer. Not only does it have a lot of bells and whistles, it does two things much better than my other model. It gets hotter (up to 500 degrees) and it is quiet enough to talk around. It comes with so many accessories including various trays and baskets, small tong, silicone heat mat, rotisserie spit, oven mits and a cook book. The volume of food it can hold and the speed at which is can cook are impressive. You can set it to air fryer (convection) or oven, then you can use the presets or specify the time and temperature. The French doors are mechanically connected so pulling one will open both. It is no exaggeration to say that the high temp this can reach, will make some food (like pizza) taste better. I took three of my regular frozen pizzas and cooked them different was for comparison. One went into a standard oven, another in my convection toaster oven and the third in the Kalorik Maxx. The Kalorik was able to get to and maintain a higher temperature throughout the cook and the pizza came out amazing. It was so good that I nearly ate the whole pie in one sitting. I’ve cooked a lot of good meals in this thing. I included a photo of tater tots to show how golden the food gets. I tried to cook bacon. The results were great but there is just so much rendered fat and splatter that the cleanup takes a while. One reason the results are great is because the kit comes with a special bacon tray and you can get really crispy bacon from it. The preset and the position recommended was too intense and quickly charcoaled the first batch. I moved the tray down one level and cut the time down. It came out perfect. I use the dehydrator feature to prep the pumpkin seeds for coating and roasting. It took a process that usually takes me two days and I was able to snack in about two hours. The seeds were well roasted and my kids even enjoyed them (I used a cinnamon sugar coating.) I also dehydrated some freshly sliced apple. It took about 3 hours and I had a healthy snack to mix with things. I could go on about all the great food that we’ve made with this but let me get to some of the things that need improvement. The led time/temperature display is blindingly bright. I look at it from the side because it is so intense. (photo attached) Most sections are double walled but the rear panel seems to get scalding hot. The instructions say to keep 4” clear on all sides. The quality of materials is mixed between good enough and good. Some areas are strong while some accessories feel delicate. I had a small section (size of two fingers) of blistered paint on the top of my unit. While it will not affect the performance, I think QC should have caught it. Overall, this is a great unit and I would recommend it.

It was a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to access the programs, temp and times I wanted but after watching a video online it was really very simple. I made burgers and french fries for my first attempt and they turned out awesome! I can't wait to try out the rotisserie and the many other functions. This will really be a great help in summer for baking without heating up the whole kitchen with my regular oven. Highly recommend this item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great oven that has so many functions - it is amazing. I have found myself using it all the time - morning to night. On top of the air fry function - it also toasts, bakes, broils and even has a rotisserie. It has allowed me to gain space on my counter as it has replaced several other appliances. It is easy to use - just set the function you want with temperature and time and you are good to go. The timer is great - lets you know when time is up. The oven is a great size - more than ample space to cook meals and even have leftovers. The air fryer basket is nice and big - so easy to place the food you are going to cook with plenty of room for the air to circulate. Also the oven is large enough to toast everything anybody wants - at the same time. For example if someone wants a bagel someone else wants toast someone else wants a muffin - well now I can do everything at the same time. Everything is ready at the same time. Makes great baked goods - and an awesome baked potato. Since I don’t have to use the big oven - it helps keep the kitchen cool. It is easy to clean - pan, baskets and accessories clean up easily. One other thing - it comes very well packed and boxed. No fear of damage in shipping. Great find!
