Adhesion exterior primmer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used as primer on 36 year old "Masonite" type siding. Power washed, sanded one coat Adhesion followed by two coats acrylic latex sold stain.. I tested Adhesion primer two years ago on the house and it outperformed two other high bond primers.

    Perfect for countertops
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm doing a faux marble painting technique on my counters. I needed the best bonding primer available. After some research, I chose Kilz Adhesion. It sticks to anything, and anything sticks to it. I'm very happy with the results!

      Holding tight!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use on a TV armoire that wood and particle board. It was very heavy and needed to be painted in the house so all over sanding in my living room was not an option. I painted 2 coats inside and out, followed by 2 coats of interior eggshell finish paint and 2 coats of satin clear acrylic. I am using this piece to store fabrics in. It has been over a year since I completed the project (except for the knobs...not sure what I want still) and the paint has stayed on the armoire. I use this armoire almost on a daily basis while sewing and the KILZ ADHESION PRIMER has held up to its claims! I'm in the process of stripping a wood high chair, regluing it all back together, etc. I intend to paint it to use as a youth chair so I will use the KILZ ADHESION on it also. I admit I was skeptical to use this product but am glad I did!

        Covers tile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this primer to cover my ugly avocado green tiles in my bathroom. It took two coats, but it covered the tile and grout 100%. Then I was able to paint the tile and it looks amazing! I also primed my maple wood cabinets and then painted them this amazing grey.

          Great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to stencil our kitchen and dining room floor that already had ceramic tile, so we used Kilz Adhesive Primer under our base coat to grip the paint to the tile. I found three primer to be easy to work with and the price was good too!

            Works wonders
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I painted some knotty pine kitchen cabinets with a lot of varnish. I used Kilz Adhesion and it worked amazingly. Paint went on beautifully.

I used this to paint over an ugly colored purple MARBLE fireplace mantel. it went on very easily and smooth. I frankly did not think it would stick to a nonporous marble surface. It dried to the touch within 1 hour. The KEY is to wait 24 hours for it to really bond to the surface. After 24 hours it will really stick and will not easily scratch off. I put 2 coats of primer on and then a finish coat of regular paint. It worked great. You can't see the ugly purple marble underneath.

Tried using this on a vertical ceramic tile wall that is texturized to look like slate, per the can instructions saying it would be dry in 15 minutes, I painted latex over it after 30 minutes. The next morning parts of the primer and paint were bubbling and peeling from the tile. Will try again waiting for it to dry overnight first and will update if it improves.

              Hello PainterGal,
Sorry to hear you are having a bubbling and peeling issue. To fix those areas, we recommend sanding the edges to a smooth surface, cleaning the area and then recoating. I apologize if there is any confusion on the dry time. However, the dry time is 30 minutes to the touch and we recommend top coating it after an hour of dry time.
Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions.
              Best regards,
              Kevin Kilz

Worked like a charm, painted a small half bath that had ugly gray and maroon plastic tiles, sanded and cleaned them, than primed with Kill, two coats, painted with Behr satin enamel, came out beyond my expectations.

                Bonds to anything!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product many times and it always amazes me what a great product it is. There is a lot of old paneling in our house and instead of having to pull it out and drywall I use Adhesions primer and it never scratches off. The most money saving project I used it on was old laminate cupboards. They are not intended to be painted but this primer made it possible. I did have to lightly sand the area around the handles due to oil and dirt from opening them but they held up great and saved a ton of money on new cabinets!
