Met my needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the adhesion primer to use as a basecoat for painting a laminate dresser. I did have to use two coats for a smooth finish that doesn't show streaks and brush marks, but the product was sufficient for my needs. It's been about 3 years and the paint has held up well. The only mistake I made was putting the drawers back in before the paint and primer had fully cured and they stuck in a few places.

Excellent product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this product that was recommended by my contractor. My bathroom had hot pink tiles from 1955. This product bonded perfectly for the tile to be painted a modern color. My bathroom is now modern, fresh, and clean. Turned out great, no peeling, bathtub and shower area’s are looking great as well. Thanks Kilz for a great product!!

Great on painting mirrors!

Great Adhesion

We had a job , painting new plastic panels for a waterpark activity structure during a the covid shutdown of 2020. I needed a high adhesion primer that would adhere to plastic but also not lift or bubble, when finishing with an 2 part MEK based industrial, marine epoxy the customer picked out. Excellent finished job. !

Adhesion exterior primmer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used as primer on 36 year old "Masonite" type siding. Power washed, sanded one coat Adhesion followed by two coats acrylic latex sold stain.. I tested Adhesion primer two years ago on the house and it outperformed two other high bond primers.

Perfect for countertops

Used this on a kitchen cabinet project - oak to white. This product provided very good adhesion, coverage, dry time, and very easy to sand. It took 2 coats of Kilz primer and 2 coats of top coat to cover the oak. No worries with sticking to the lacquer finish. Cleaned cabinets with Simple Green, lightly sanded, and applied Kilz. Very good product.

Holding tight!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use on a TV armoire that wood and particle board. It was very heavy and needed to be painted in the house so all over sanding in my living room was not an option. I painted 2 coats inside and out, followed by 2 coats of interior eggshell finish paint and 2 coats of satin clear acrylic. I am using this piece to store fabrics in. It has been over a year since I completed the project (except for the knobs...not sure what I want still) and the paint has stayed on the armoire. I use this armoire almost on a daily basis while sewing and the KILZ ADHESION PRIMER has held up to its claims! I'm in the process of stripping a wood high chair, regluing it all back together, etc. I intend to paint it to use as a youth chair so I will use the KILZ ADHESION on it also. I admit I was skeptical to use this product but am glad I did!

Covers tile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this primer to cover my ugly avocado green tiles in my bathroom. It took two coats, but it covered the tile and grout 100%. Then I was able to paint the tile and it looks amazing! I also primed my maple wood cabinets and then painted them this amazing grey.
