Still has white film at water area
I’ve had king water for a year and I bought it to get rid of the white water spots. I still have the spots and the smell from the water which I was told is the chlorine. I had the water tested and was told it was very hard after my purchase. I had a representative for king water come out and he said it was normal to have white stains and white powder from the water. The selling point they use is alkaline drinking water but if the water is leaving stains and powder I don’t think I want to drink it. They won’t give a refund because the system is giving alkaline water ( about an 8 ) and is not designed to filter everything out of the water. Buyer beware!!!!

Bye bye traditional water softer
I have a lot of fish tanks and could not do water changes with traditional water softener. This salt free softener has a few downsides as does the traditional but other than a few more spots on my shower door that wipe off I prefer this one. My skin is no longer dry and itchy after shower. The water is much better to drink than my RO system as well. I also have improved water pressure vs my old traditional softener. Took 10 minutes to install because I was already plumbed for softener and used the same hoses and I’m not a plumber

Hi my name is Diane I purchased Wayde King whole house water filtering system from Homedepot.. October 6, 2019. The representative was named Richard explain to me how the system worked and I was very interested.. as we both went to the service desk to pay for the system the sales lady said I have to have their plumber come out and give an estimate since my home is 30+ years at my expense of $99 and if I use their company the $99 dollars will be deducted from the cost of the installation , normally insulation is a flat fee of $390. If you have a loop already installed in your home but since mine was a 30+ year I had to have the plumber come out and give me an estimate their plumber did come out Delta mechanical pluming and they quoted me $1500 to install the system the technician did say he’ll do it for $1200 that’s insane.. Richard was at the home when Homedepot’s plumber came out to give an estimate even he was surprised and shocked at the price.. recommended their Plumer the company they uses which is called nationwide plumbing, they had the system install an hour and charged me $375 plus $75 for a shut off valve. Total installation was $450 I do recommend this company for all your plumbing needs.. I did rate product four-star and the reason for that is when Richard came back a week later test my water he was not able to show me the difference between the chlorine and hardness in the water.. all he could say was it was alkaline water .But I am happy with the system I feel the difference in my skin the dishes in the dishwasher are not heavily spotted very little spots on my dishes My hair feels better in the water tastes good and very refreshing.. as for Homedepot I do not recommend their plumbing company for estimates as needed in the future.. also Richard did reimburse me 50% of the $99.

Five adults, three bathrooms
We installed this unit this month. Never before could I make coffee from the kitchen tap. Our water was very hard. Laundry soap was expensive, hopefully this will lower that bill. Wife says she can tell the difference as her hair is softer.

We bought this for our new home and absolutely love...
We bought this for our new home and absolutely love the change in water quality. It no longer smells bad and actually tastes really good. Being our city uses reclaimed water, the quality of the water is horrible, but this system really made a good improvement.
